Hello sir I m Ali Shinwari and I meet with you in Peshawar namak mandi in u take a picture of my Friends with fan in make a vedio cannot upload this....
A few years earlier a friend and I traveled in the same region. Just a slightly different route, from Altai region to Tuva Region along the Mongolian Border. Only Local traffic is tolerated, and we got extremely lucky to find a Multi-Day ride to Kyzyl, the Capital of neighboring Tuva. By record we where the Only Western People who ever managed this Route while Hitchhiking. According Anton Krotov there has only been a group who managed Walking but never before or after anyone managed to get Along the Mongolian Border region into Tuva. So my Heart jumped into a higher ritm of Joy when seeing the title of this Video, and I Love seeing the Scenery in the Altai part after all those years haven't Changed 😍
Wow I didn't realize Tuva had so little tourism. I always wanted to make it to Kyzyl myself and also try to find a way to go deep in the surrounding mountains alone. I think it'd be a really incredible experience especially meeting those living in the mountains of the Tuva region!
Tuva itself has "Officially" only two ways in. By Air, and by a Single road from the North.. The 'unofficial' route mentioned goes along the Southern border along Mongolia, from The Altai-Mongolia border crossing to South-Western Tuva, with only a handful of small villages along the way. The Fences in those mountain villages are pretty tall to keep predators out at Night, but the People are amazingly Want and open hospitality. We stayed for a night to let the driver rest, and the next day after unloading the fuel and supplies for the village we continued with less people towards Kyzyl to be just in time for the Throat singing festival. People in Altai warned us for the bad Drunken behaviour of the Tuvans, but all indigenous Tuvan people were the most friendly of all Siberian people we had met. The "White Russians" on the other hand had brought a lot of Alcoholism with them when they 'recently' moved to the Tuvan Region.. but never we had any truly bad experience with anyone 😊
Awesome vlog budd.
