Honestly, that arc killed the hype for me because there were sparse good moments between a whole array of mediocre, dragged out moments. By the time the show neared its end, I was disappointed.
@@beniporag Well the war arc itself wasn't actually 200+ episodes, alot of those episodes were filler. I know some people look at that as a bad thing but , I would rather have that many fillers that are considered fillers instead of a bunch of episodes that are considering cannon and are filled with fluff. In all honesty the war arc was my favorite arc in all of Naruto and Naruto shippudenn, the build up to the war and the first real introduction to the Otsutsuki's was so hype for me. By the end of Shippudenn I was hyped asf for Boruto so we could continue on the Otsutsuki storyline and learn more about them, but I guess everyone takes things differently. I can see why you wouldn't feel the same
Jihad Scott I will admit that the introduction of the Otsutsuki was interesting and a nice segway into what Boruto would cover, but I think the war arc was dragged out way too long. For some reason they had had some long exposition about itachi and Guy-sensei during the war, which was such a weird place to put that. Also, I wish the animation was more consistent and of high quality like the Madara fight against the Allied Shinobi force, but they weren’t. There were good moments in the war arc, but it wasn’t good overall. Obito is a rehash of Nagato, but I still liked his character, and I wish there was foreshadowing that Black Zetsu manipulated everything for Madara and Obito, but it was thrown out there for some shock value. I also think Sasuke’s decision to help the Allied Shinobi forces was a bit rushed considering he was trying to destroy the Leaf for all this time. I will admit I am extremely hyped up for the future Boruto arcs dealing with the Otsutsuki thanks to the war arc (only watched the Boruto anime) but I felt that some things in the arc were dragged out and others rushed. There were epic moments but I felt that many episodes were unnecessary and should’ve been cut out from the arc.
