Very nice aesthetically! One thing to boost its functionality would be a Redstone lamp display with comparators as an indicator for when the cauldrons are full. I've never really been good at combining form with function or keeping things as compact as possible, so the lamp-displays that I usually set up mean that the cauldrons have to have a 1 block space between them, making the farm way bigger than it has to be. Most would probably just go without the display because you can just go up to check if it's done, and the lava itself gives off light so you might spot it anyway if it's dark in your world. I mainly have it because I'm forgetful and I like to collect the lava as soon as it's done feeding into the cauldron so that I can build up a reserve of fuel as quickly as possible.
I suppose what could be a middle-ground solution would be to have one lamp for all of the cauldrons: i.e. you'd have comparators feeding out of each cauldron and into one Redstone lamp either up on the roof of the build or nearby. But that would mean having a three-block space between the rows of cauldrons. Eh, next time I make one of these in survival I'll just have the lava farm in a dedicated smelting-room (or forge) in the base - maybe in a ring around the room with a big oven in the middle made up of mini blast-furnaces, that could look cool.
