The lesser sac is tucked away behind the liver, and can be really hard to mentally visualise. I hope this makes understanding the lesser sac & the epiploic foramen that little bit easier.

Oh my god, I never understood that first image from Gray's that you showed, because I could never figure out why they had the stomach on the viewer's left on the axial view (when conventionally we are used to seeing it on the viewer's right), until you did that turn with the 3D model. Your model is amazing, it orientates things so well.

I just have one question that originally brought me here and it is not discussed in the video - the Morrisons pouch (space) should be the right subhepatic recess (someone calls it as well a hepatorenal pouch?) and I've spent a crazy amount of time trying to find out, where the subhepatic recess is - because someone actually says it is the same as the superior recess - but that isn't true - am I right? The superior recess is the most upper recess in the lesser sac dorsal to liver (it can be found approximately in the midline and then to the left side) and this superior recess as said is a part of the lesser sac (omental bursa), however subhepatic recess should be part of the greater sac (so outside of the lesser sac=omental bursa) as well dorsal to the liver and probably more to the left from the midline? Am I right please? So actually the left (not right, which is Morrisons pouch) subhepatic recess should be next to the superior recess of the lesser sack and they should be divided by the bare are of liver? There is unsufficient number of sagittal planes describing the peritoenal cavity, the only traditional sagittal plane (the one you used in the video as well) describes it only from the midline, so it is very difficult to visualise the whole peritoneal cavity - great you helped with the visualisation of the main part of the lesser sac. Thank you very much in advance!!

Just a note that may have confused others was at 2:04 you mentioned the greater curvature of the stomach gives rise to the lesser omentum when it is in fact the lesser curvature that gives rise to the lesser omentum (though you did highlight the correct area of the *lesser curvature of the stomach as you mentioned this).
