@@siddharthsharma3291 Found the champagne socialist rich kid! Look spoiled child, when people are in a catastrophe like in Death Stranding at first they can get real nasty but eventually everyone start to get along because humans know that the survival of the most is the winning strategy. Of course, you in your MANOR couldn't know about collective suffering, you just call the butler/maid and you get what you ask for, unlike real people that have suffered thing like: Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Tornados, Floods, Famine, etc. It is painful at first but then humans get along very well, and those who can't fit, like you, become outcast and their survival gets lower, for the greater good.
That's the main theme, yes but it is much more than just a walking/delivery sim. Later on in the game there are obstacles in the environment which require thinking and planning to cross. It becomes an environmental puzzle game, which has hundreds of different ways of solving the same problem with the equipment you have but it does start out as a pretty basic delivery sim. It really opens up and shines after about 8 hours in, when you start to get some of the more fun equipment.
yes and no, but I'm more inclined to say no. the depth and sensitivity of the main story is too great to reduce the game to something just about deliveries. The game is beautiful, has a touching story, unique and very striking gameplay, an impeccable soundtrack and shows Kojima's vision for what gameplay can be in a healthy community. The game is story mode with anonymous online interaction, where other people, who are playing the same main story as you and going through the same paths, voluntarily contribute to other people's gameplay. This happens when people leave equipment and danger markers or terrain crossing tips on the map on purpose, so that other people don't go through the same ordeals as them. the game has a like system that does not encourage competitiveness, but rather gratitude between players. you receive likes as you help more people, so in the end, as the game's characters will explain to you throughout the story, receiving likes is yet another reinforcement, an encouragement and a thank you for your contribution to a better world. You can voluntarily give more likes to structures created by other players, such as signs warning of dangers, bridges or stairs, among others. At various moments in the gameplay where you are on the brink of death struggling to escape from enemies, the game's online system uses profiles of real people to bring the bodies of these other players, as if they were ghosts, who are there just to give you support so that you don't die, dropping life items (blood) and weapons, which shows how the game gives you every chance possible and wants you to overcome every obstacle with all the help you can get if needed, even on the hardest mode. the game is simply one of the best I've ever played in my life, Kojima really is brilliant
I always loved this part of the game because it was the only time we see the world during the night outside of cutscenes
day/night cycle is a must for DS2
Wow!!! How many feelings.
Seven
Beautiful snapshot of the game

It would. Ecology and harmony... but in reality humanity suffers from greed, stupidity, lust and corruption. Sad.
Tell me you haven't finished the game without telling me you haven't fonished the game. Amirite?

It’s about connecting people and make American whole again. And yes, it’s like 85% about delivery.
