If a line segment divides one side of equilateral in two parts then we can also say that this line segment is also divides the angle of triangle in two parts such as in 60⁰/2.

I think I answered myself, is it because if you do cut the rectangle diagonal the two Halves wont sit on top of eachother taking the same shape, for example if you fold a rectangle paper from one corner to the corner diagonal opposite to it it won't half into a triangle like a square?
