Jesus i just KNEW i had seen him somwhere.. looked on his IMDB i was an extra on set of a feature film in 2016 called 'Day of Reckoning" where he was AD'ing
This means that every department needs to check (take a 'last look') if everything is as it should be (for example hair & make-up: if two characters share a kiss, it's likely their make-up needs a retouch for a second, third, fourth... take). After this you're ready to shoot.
He means shooting a scene in a day that wasn’t scheduled originally but may have time for (if they’re moving faster than expected or a scene is cut, etc).
Im not an actor...rather a producer director but........this guy seems....like....he makes u do all the work yourself ...... Like...lazy ..idk id hate to work w him
Interesting for you to call someone lazy without knowing that person and making this judgement off a UA-cam video. Actually, Josh always works hard on the sets he is on. Also, the crew and actors enjoy working with him.
I've had the pleasure of working with this gentleman. Great 1st AD.
Honestly, 1st ADs, are true heroes of a production. These folks should arrive on set every day wearing stars on their shoulders.
Truly the ‘unsung hero’ of the industry. That and a good focus puller!
That girl in the back did not want to go over on the last day and i don’t blame her😂

hey Mr director do not interrupt the first ad when he is talking to the team. thank you.
As an AD, hard cringe
You know the crazy thing is what he was saying was probably things the AD brought up
As an AD….the cockpit story is a huge nightmare
Hah atthe end it looks like everyone hates...this guy and his helper...omg
Nice..👍
Really the job of a AD is not so easy.
tell me something about second Assistant
What is the brand of his chest pack sitting on the bed next to him at 6:10?
Why does the 2ac call ‘mark’ before shutting the skate? What does it mean?
DM any 1st AC on instagram, they'll tell you. I forgot what it means. Sometimes they say marker too. Maybe for the editor?
It's to mark that they are actually clapping the slate to avoid confusion with other sounds that may sound like a clap.
Linopa Films some people told its also to mark that they are set and the slate is in focus and in the frame
Can anyone tell me what LAST LOOK means? On a film set?

What does he mean by stealing a scene at 9:20 ?
He means shooting a scene in a day that wasn’t scheduled originally but may have time for (if they’re moving faster than expected or a scene is cut, etc).
He described what he did, but not what a first A.D. does.
would rather hear the specifics of the job than more generalizations about what an a.d. is _supposed_ to do

Why do you say this?
I'm an Italian 1st AD and he looks pretty good to me 😀

Thier are people that go to Job fair and walk around alone acting all cool that never got hired 😊
