Yikes... I have to admit I have spent more on RoK than any other game I have played. Sadly, I have zero Legendary City skins because ZoP, top AoO OL, and KvK coins are the only way to get them. As an Infantry player none of the KvK city things were worth it. Finally, thanks to Guan, Scipio, Sargon, and Tariq I might get the 5% Skill damage skin (except I need the coins for inscriptions thanks Lilith). I do have the 30-day zenith of power skin for infantry and archers just in case one KvK I'm called upon to garrison and rally lead.

I think the whale number is a very low amount of spend. It’s over $2k in a year with just daily gem supply, daily material supply, crystal pop up bundles, and daily commander chest. That won’t make someone a whale in terms of commanders and gear. Maybe you swap out daily commander chest for other spending, but it still don’t get someone much.

you got a problem if spending 100k in gaming is reasonable ngl; should prob put that money into investment portfolio, likely outperform on ROI; or play actual video games that don't need this much spending like warframe, League, COD, that also attract traffic. Cost cutting is an important aspect of running a business as well.

The more i play the more i realize that this game pairs you up against others who also spend. And the side with the higher spenders/active players will usually always win. I feel like the game is contest on who spends the most as if that in itself is a great achievement.
I think we are living in the golden era (depending how you look at it) for these types of games. My thought is everyone should be able to play the game the way they want, but as a society we generally lack the concept of personal responsibility so I would be surprised if we don’t see increased regulation around these types of monetization soon.

To be honest i dont wanna watch this video because it makes me think of how much money i spent in game... Its sad to fully enjoy the game i have to spend my money
tbh i wouldnt hold my breath on call of dragons. the fighting is just SO much worse in it that i highly doubt it's going to do anywhere close to as well as rok. it really is a shame tho because other than the fighting, it's done really well and is a much smoother gaming experience, but the fighting requires so much micro and tedium that it's functionally unusable at the moment without a pc client where you could use shortcuts ect.
Problem is once you have an account that stacked, you need to keep spending to stay meta otherwise you risk falling out of relevancy fast (see armaments). And just wait for the maturation of armaments, which I expect to include reapps (reroll all armament stats), enchantments (replace a single armament stat), and grindstones (enhance a single armament stat). If Lilith does it right, armaments will be the true end game grind similar to runes in Summoner’s War where the chase truly never ends.
Invest into something that profit nothing. I firmly believe balance the budget. I do a little spending Not breaking the bank. Nice video though Chisgule.
