pretty sure everything had 1 pierce since you didn't upgrade pierce/the pierce upgrade didn't work (since spike piles are shown based on pierce amount)

I think the whole point is most weapons have 1 damage and 1 pierce till you upgrade it That is why it was so hard, you were buying high pierce weapons with no pierce

They want you to buy upgrades so that your weapons finally scale up to normal damage
im pretty sure the reason you were having problems with ceramic bloons is because i believe all upgrades came with 1 pierce, thats why the spiked balls came with only 1 spike.
I was thinking that maybe if you buy more spiked balls it would have more spikes?

You have to upgrade the pierce otherwise they all stay at like, 1 or 2, and that's why the spikes only have one spike

seems like the weapons base stats are heavly nerfed, and stats are inherited, so spending on stats is worth it early

it seems when you buy the weapons, you only buy the properties. the stats get overwritten by the tower's stats with the exception of attack speed.
meaning recursive is ass with one pierce at base, while sun avatar is broken.

how is sun avatar broken? I've never played the mod, so can you explain it to me?
@@ultimazilla9814 me neither, but the way the mod seemes to work is it replaces damage and pierce stats of the original tower, so let's say the modded tower has 5 damage and 10 pierce:
sun avatar: 1 damage and 6 pierce -> 5 damage and 10 pierce
the big one: 8 damage and 85 pierce -> 5 damage and 10 pierce
the sun avatar gets more than 5 times stronger while the big one becomes practically useless.

I can't blame ISAB for not knowing that he needs to upgrade pierce for the tower to get more pierce. If you see an upgrade like ultra juggernaut, you'd assume you'd get the full effects of the upgrade.
Still a matter of "Man we don't have enough pierce" and then doesn't think to go to the stats menu and buy pierce for cheap

The stat upgrades are op. The attack speed and damage get upgraded if you buy them a few times and reset in cost too. I got to round 118 with just the triple shot weapon by only buying stat upgrades
I think 63 / 78 were such hard rounds because of a lack of pierce. Dark Castle is a monster of a map.
i think you might be getting pierce capped. it looks like thats the reason spike balls dont have much spikes as well.
For Glaive Lord you can actually see the DOT effect on moabs in the late 90s. But Moab dom on the other hand.... yeah there was nothing at all

everything having base 1 pierce does beg the question of why even buy high-pierce weapons if they only ever get 1 pierce up at a time, unless the pierce upgrades specifically give more pierce to the upgrades known for high pierce

14:12 I tested it in sandbox, a 500 ultra juggernaut dies to the initial ceramic rush of 78 even on easy difficulty when placed where your monkey is. 520 lets it clear that ceramic rush but then the camo one of course walks through. A 502 also loses 125 lives to the initial ceramic rush. Tested in easy difficulty because I haven't unlocked sandbox on medium or hard for dark castle :P
The problem here is that every weapons seem to come with only 1 pierce lmao he's questioning why it lost because he had ultra jug AND everything else + a bunch of stat upgrades already

I think for this tower you gotta throw away the ancient monkey thought process…. It has so many bugs and is so clunky… this tower is very refined. All of the upgrades carry over as it should… so because of that the tower comes with very low pierce and damage…. You gotta buy it as you play. It was literally only a comparison video to the ancient monkey the whole time…..

This gives me an idea for a hero that steals the attacks of your towers
The only thing that fuels ISAB's gambling addiction is his chances with Sauda.
It looks like the price of all upgrades is increased because you can get some unintended insane combos if you upgrade correctly. It appears that all upgrades come with the minimal stats, with least attack speed, least pierce, and least damage possible. So you’d need to upgrade all those stats yourself to get the best output of all your weapons, which we did end up seeing at the very end of the video, which was ISAB’s mistake not going for those sooner.
You could probably get some insane damage if you upgrade damage and pierce with a semi-auto sniper, if I had to guess.

Yeah it seems there's a huge difference from the ancient monkey mod in the sense that the stats of the attacks are tied to the stat upgrades globally. The weapons themselves didnt come with any of their base stats/properties and attack speed was really low.

Unlike the ancient monkey, all the weapons don't come with their base power. Upgrading the stats is actually setting the stats of every weapon, not adding to the weapons base.

To find the amount of upgrades in the game use 15T + P, where T is the number of tower and P is the number of paragons. If you count 0-0-0 towers as an upgrade just add ‘T’ to your result. Was this asked for? No. Have a nice day
Edit: just figured if someone counted abilities as separate upgrades to the tiers you get the ability. Add 2T to the final result and then an extra 4 because super has 3 bottom path abilities(teleport) and heli has 3(redeploy, cash/lives, marine) and there are 3 passive abilities. I regret this

This mod definitely is an interesting concept, but I noticed through multiple vids that it's got quite a few bugs that need fixed.
A little more time for it to be fixed should do it well

Stat upgrades + cheap multi projectile qeapons is the obvious strat here. Why would you pay $100k for legend of the night when you can pay $500 for a thorn swarm that does almost equal damage per hit with equally infinite pierce?

Wouldn't this be a good replacement for all the buff towers to check how long do one super buffed tower last? Since you can just buy all the buffs you want (like the 20 Shinobi stacks and so) and place him out of the bloons range without much clutter
