I made a comment earlier about being frustrated with the play but I take it back because (for one thing) I'm not a musicals type person and watching this on video Is Nothing like seeing it in person! So a friend invited me and I thought I should check it out and it was Amazing!! I really loved it. I sat near the stage so I got to see more stuff (that they didn't show on camera) and when the Egypt scenes with the soldiers chasing the Hebrew women and killing the babies and Moses mother leaving him in the water about made me cry. I love the Jesus on the white horse scene too. And the dancers and the costumes. It was so much fun. I will definitely go next year. So anyway, don't just watch the video. GO see it in person it makes a whole lot of difference. 😁
Wow such work went into this production, great work everyone! I love the part where Jesus took the key out of Satan's hands, such a powerful message. Thank you God for using these wonderful people for your glory. I pray that this production will reach many hearts and place their salvation in your hand. Amen.

I can only imajine how it would have been to be in the live audience. the ending song I have fell in love with. first time I heard it was from the artist Kari jobe. when it came to this song I could truly feel the holy spirit with in my living room. for tears of joy came to my face. WE SERVE A RISEN LORD WHO AS OVER COME! PRAISE BE ALL TO THE LORD! awesome job to everyone! I was very moved and blessed by it. thank you thank you.

This is amazing play that I ever scene. listening to the music of Jesus's birth is so beautiful and watching the whole play is makes me feel more closer to God and understanding that Jesus gave up his life to free us from the tyranny of sin. I also want to say to the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville this was a brilliant production! the best play that you ever made!!!

I was there, present with my family. My grandchildren still talk about the play today and love reading about Jesus! Everyone did a magnificent job. I just knew the Lord was about to return that night ; powerful!

Do you happen to know the name of the first song? The one where God, JESUS, Holy Spirit and Adam sing? I tried looking it up under " My Heart belongs to You" but only gave the secular version.
This was a brilliant production! It portrayed Jesus as fully human, able to enjoy himself when it was time and he felt the pain of his death. And yet he went through with it for he knew the will of the father

When is this put on? I would love to come see it! I love the beginning! This is a great showing that not all Christians are back-water hicks who are unartistic or unintelligent. PTL! I have never seen anyone depict the trinity. What a wonderful way of bringing that concept to life! BTW, forgive a giggle at the scotch tape. :) Sometimes ya have to do things like that to make it work. I'm no stranger to that stuff to with our musicals at church.

The song is entitled "In the Beginning." The words and music are by Greg Nelson and Bob Farrell and it is arranged by David Hamilton.

The Bible has contradictions. In John 3:16 the Bible says that God loves everyone with a saving love while other verses says that he only loves the elect with a saving love.
