@Kiera I noticed you didn't get a reply... Brendan was an English secondary school teacher at the Catholic Belcamp College in North County Dublin, which closed in 2004.
I worked the sound booth for a production of The Cripple of Inishmaan at my college and been in love with McDonagh’s work ever since. Definitely always looking forward to the new thing he does.
Immediately became one of my favourites movies as soon as I watched it. Gotta laugh that there are people who actually found that movie bad. Everything that movie said flew over their head.
When I left the movie I heard someone saying it was bad… I left the movie thinking it was one of the best movies I had seen. So much depth and nuance… loved it
@@jeremymullins1294 Come on, how long is a piece of string. I am not the only one saying its drawn out and boring, and the box office has spoken. You like it, I don't, that's opinions for you.
OMFG!!!! I didn't know about this movie. I'm a HUUUGE In Bruges fan and was subsquently dissappointed by every Martin McDonagh movie since...and I KNEW it was because the irish element was they key....not just the script. I NEED to watch this asap.
A few weeks after my original comment : I watched it! It was great. Definately Martin's best movie since In Bruges. He should stick to Ireland. No, really. His dialogue works so much better there.
Cannot wait to see this film. Two talented Irish ☘️ fellas who have the most wonderful chemistry. I watched In Bruges last night to brush up on them. Fantastic.
Are these two the greatest actors to ever come from this island? I’d personally only have Peter O Toole above them (if he counts), am I missing anyone?
I could watch and listen to these two talking about anything.
same, i think they have better things to do, but their podcast would be amazing
Love these two laughing together. Wonderful movie that I genuinely relate to
You can tell Brendan Gleeson used to be a teacher. He's so well spoken.
He was? Wow
Do you know where he used to teach?
Didn’t know that!

What did it say ...besides tapping into paddywhackery
You have to looove these two ❤❤ we are completely blessed with them
They're a great pairing...In Bruges is still one of my favorites.
I like how Colin stuck that "maith" in there and Brendan just chuckled.
Absolutely loved the film, the acting from the three main characters and the visual imagery. One of the best films I've seen for ages
*4 main characters 😉
where can i see this film online?
@@welvendagreat3654 It's still in theaters.
Great performances from the animals too. The ones without fingers.
@colinfarrell01 what's next ? Will there be another appearance as the penguin too?
This was one of the best films I’ve ever seen.
Really ?? it was terrible , begorrah .
@@jimbanda What film do you think is not terrible?

I love any movies that take place in Ireland oh I can't wait to watch this
This film has made me ponder life perhaps more than any other I've seen. So brilliant

Chemistry is definitely their thing. You see it here as well.
A wonderful film - a must watch in my books.
I loved this movie!
The volume on the upload is very low .
Sadly. Can barely hear it.
Rory's sound level is so low compared to the actors, it's distracting. Can you fix this in future?
audio level too low, mate
Brendan Gleeson 😍
Turn up the mike plse
Turn up yer volume? I can hear them just fine
@@Belfastboi Thanks but that doesn't solve it. It's bordering on inaudible. Ridiculous.
Volume check!
Brilliant
This interviewer is so lucky!

Richard Harris maybe
Richard Harris - deffo up there.
Peter O’Toole, Richard Harris, Liam Neeson
Dickie for me!
Cillian Murphy 😊
This interviewer over-reaches on the whole Irish thing too much. Wow, there are Irish people in comic book movies? What a conspiracy!
Brendan's fingers must not be dissimilar to that of a lizards tail
Friendship
