Oh man, I downloaded this back when limewire was a thing, and always thought it was the original version. I was so sad when I searched for it on the album and it was so different. This is the only recording of this version I could find. So happy this is here haha

Spot on.. he had this song for years before he recorded it with the Babyshambles it shoulda been recorded with the Libs or in a very similar way to this version (Zero instruments just him and guitar with mild violin and harmonies) Babyshambles version fails to capture the heart, soul and emotion of Peter and Carls utopian vision from the very beginning. Shame
i saw pete live in concert 6 days ago... because i was earlier i saw him arrive at the venue... and walked 3 times just passed me, no more than a meter away...

pete doherty and noel gallagher cant be compaird diffrent generations diffrent views on life ... i love both.... but noel gallaghers own words are the only band that came close too oasis for changing the way people wrote songs the way people dressed even the DRUGS people take all changed wen these 2 genuis's came out ... period
