Hello, thank you for reaching out! For the ZE500 print engine, all controls are managed from the control panel at the top of the system. We have not worked with a model that comes with an external remote controller. You can find the ZE500 manual which covers the control panel on Zebra Tech's website: www.zebra.com
Ours doesn't print all labels consistently. Send a print job of 10 labels, prints 9, send the job again - prints 5, send the job again - prints all 10.
Not sure if you’ll see this with it being so long ago, however, I did the media and ribbon recalibration. After which the printer kept printing non stop, basically just shooting out labels. How would I fix this type of issue? Simply recalibrate again?
I would check to see if your ribbon / labels are webbed through the sensors correctly. If it doesn't see the label gap, or the ribbon is somehow blocking one of the sensors, it might cause the printer to continue progressing.
Can you make a video of how to go about the remote controller?
