    Great job Jay.
    Certainly will be a campervan to be proud of. Nothing more fulfilling than a job done by yourself and done well.
    Take care.

    All your videos are very well done, I do want to see the car restoration.. essential worker here (infrastructure), the pandemic, its getting nearer to me, Our facility is super careful and practices constant disinfecting and six feet between each other rule. Kind of scary though stopping at gas stations and getting groceries only when needed do we go out. People just are not very scared up here yet and are not really practicing distancing rules..that is a huge mistake. Keep well Jay.

    Great work, does the battery under the drivers also fit at the front of the base? Or is that the only position that it'll fit in?
    Thanks

    • @WiseFabrication
      @WiseFabrication  4 роки тому +1

      Hey mate. Yeah you can move it up slightly. You may be able to turn it around length ways also but I didn’t try that is I’m honest

      @@WiseFabrication cheers mate, you doing a sound system video? I'm not to sure what to go for yet fancy a nice budget but not to cheap android, big screen, camera etc

    • @WiseFabrication

      To be honest at the moment I plan on just keeping the original head unit. I may upgrade the door speakers but that’s it

    Some great attention to detail as I’ve said before, you haven’t necessarily done things the way I would of but it doesn’t mean that it’s wrong either just different.
    Looking forward to seeing the shuvit resto, seen it in the background of one or two vids before. Are you keeping it standard or modifying it?

    • @WiseFabrication
      @WiseFabrication  4 роки тому +1

      Hey mate. Yeah I think there is so many different ways. Please feel free to ever suggest different ideas over. Yeah I’ll just be keep the Chevette totally original. Was going to turbo it but I would prefer a kadett C for that now.

    • @dieselbushcraft1299
      @dieselbushcraft1299 4 роки тому +1

      Jay Saunders good news keeping it standard, call me boring but not many left so it’s great to see originality.
      Looking forward to seeing your future videos.

    • @WiseFabrication
      @WiseFabrication  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks mate. So I brought it originally for my turbo engine then when I got it home I saw home clean and original is was and just couldn’t start cutting it up for bigger box tunnel rear axle etc. So it’s going to stay original now and just have it as a usable classic

    What height battery have you used as I've done the same but the battery catches on the seat slide lever.

      Is it a straight swap or do you have to rewire the airbag 🤔

    • @WiseFabrication
      @WiseFabrication  4 роки тому +1

      So for mine mate which is a 56 plate it fits straight into the steering column. Mine had a mrk7 golf wheel fitted when I brought it so my loom was already messed with compared to standard. So I can’t comment on yours to be honest but I think quiet a few people have messed with these now so think it’s still very easy from standard
