Sri Chowdeswari Devi Dandakam , written by Boddu.Sripavan under the direction of Boddu.Senani Varaprasadarao.Some old Dandakas references are considered and a new Dandakam is written.
Dandakam is a literary style of poetry seen in Sanskrit prosody and Telugu languages on persons,things,etc,.This art form is based on describing.This process is done with the musical support of Thavil or Dhol."Vanthas",the supporters give their vocal support to the main person who is telling the dandakam.In some places "Dandakam" is also called as "Kadga Padyam". Now-a-days, a very few people are performing this.
