- I’ve been watching a lot of Futurama lately and it’s been my favorite show this month, lol.

What I'm about to tell might already be common to hear, but I used to watch this show with my father, from the first season to the last. Thanks to him and this amazing show, I had the opportunity to learn and study physics, specializing in quantum mechanics. When I graduated in 2018, we picked up the series again, and every scientific joke, beyond the gags, was incredibly clever. I would explain them to him, which made re-watching the show from the first season much more dynamic.
A few years ago, my father left us due to heart problems, and his departure deeply affected us, especially me and my siblings. Today, upon seeing on Star Plus that there was another season I wasn't aware of, I played this episode while remembering my dad with joy. However, tears overcame me when the intro began, which I hadn't heard in so many years.
In a way, it's as if the professor himself had told me that I could relive the whole series with my dad once more.

I'm so happy the full intro, and thus the cartoon clips, is back. I also like that they've added more stuff to both the city backdrop, like the Vampire State Building, and some ships in the sky like the Nimbus

@@squankymcfootlong2881 It actually is in the intro. Slow the video down (to 0.25 playback speed) after the Planet Express ship flies through the R in "FUTURAMA" - the Vampire State Building is shown around the 0:11 mark on the right.
It’s mind boggling to see this show come back in full force. I have fond memories of first watching the show a very long time ago on Adult Swim when I was a kid and then catching the Comedy Central episodes later on in high school. Always hated how they cut the theme song short during that time but they rectified this now.
Its been 10 long years that we all thought Futurama was finished but thanks to hulu they brought it back and that intro is the same and old nostalgic feel i missed so much! Happy they kept the same intro and now Futurama can make fun of Hulu hahaha! Best part is the same voice original cast members, i know its been 10 years they haven't voiced Futurama but they still got the humor and voices too! There's an easter egg in the intro, bender is underneath the ship and never seen that in the old intros
Also thanks Disney+ for showing it to fans outside the US!
With Final Space gone and the current state of Rick and Morty (questionable) I'm beyond glad to have Futurama back

It is so good to have this sci-fi cartoon back! Plus, two things; First, I just can't help myself jamming and humming along to that theme tune. And second, it's a vision come true finally seeing that variation of the 20th TVA logo reading "30th Television Animation". Anyway, thank you, Matt!

I didn't realize how much I missed this show until I heard the theme song again.
At 0:20 you can see bender on a magnet.
Thats a reference to season 1 episode 2, where amy plays with a claw machine, cause she dropped a key into a box full of plushies. And those plushies were dropped off at the claw machine, then, when she finally pulled them out, she went to rescue bender, and she used the magnet to grab him, but because bender is a robot, it broke his chip and he started singing (if you look closely, you can see how hes dancing exactly like in the episode)

Side note, next episode, its Kathy Segal that gets top billing, then John DiMaggio, then Billy West, etc... I guess its to who has a predominant role in the episode.
Its incredible how this new season doesnt feel out of touch to the other seasons. Its just NEW episodes of the same tone and high quality of comedy and drama we've come to know. I was laughing way too hard at the nft mining cowboy episode. Bender's right, They’re Back, Baby!
I didn't love the first few, even though Kif and Amy's kids episode was so sweet, but the Amazon and Christmas episodes were instant classics.
I wake up at 3 am, just to see this masterpiece, i dont regret if im tired now, its just epic

John DiMaggio stole Billy West's first place in the credits sequence, does it mean Bender is going to be the main character now?
Well John Dimaggio did stood up and demanded better pay, and while he didn't got it, he got a lot of respect. Plus, Bender is the show stealer for Futurama, so might as well cast him first on the billing.
He didn’t get a pay raise but got star billing. I think that ended up being good enough for him.
It could be because of the John Dimaggio salary problem, although I remember that in the Comedy Central seasons before the third cancellation, Bender started to become much more relevant.
Honestly, his voice has aged better than Billy West's, I would bill him first

It got more views than I expected. I literally borrowed sampled intros from 20th Television, and without any fillers or transitions from any scene damnit! Btw somehow the quality is set to auto 144p, you can change it if you have either faster internet or whatever

I just watched the first episode of S11 along with S35 of The Simpsons on Disney. I loved it.
