Kibe! I think your mission to help those who don't have ready access to medical care is super commendable! Thanks for sharing this examination of Gitiriba's dad. It was very informative. You have a really pleasant bedside manner and so good that Gitiriba's dad is doing as well as can be expected at his age with his existing conditions. The non-intention tremor, stooped posture, stiffness, slowness in speech and movement made me wonder if anyone has considered the possibility of a Parkinson's-like condition? Takes a brave soul to work outside the hospital like this. Kudos for actually jumping right in and following your passion to provide this much needed care.
Educate to elevate the feet to help with edema also maybe compression socks during the day.

an in dwelling catheter can be changed monthly with it removed and replaced immediately we do it all the time, instead of adult brief that if not changed often can lead to skin breakdown leading to wounds.

Kibe, that pitting Edema. Probably, his right side of his heart is failing. That is why he has a lot of those fluid build up. Lasix medication can help, the legs will need to be elavated when sitting down, and maybe use compression socks during the daytime may to push those fluids back to the heart.
Gitiriba, this is just a suggestion. You could try to harvest rain water from the roof tops in water tanks using guttering and PVC pipes rather than allowing the water to go to waste when it rains. Stay safe. Respect and blessings.
