UPDATE: I've been having issues with the battery draining when sitting for a few days. I have a feeling that it happens only when using the wireless controller buttons to turn it off. Maybe the wireless connection stays open and slowly drains the battery? ... will need to do some further testing to confirm, but in the meantime I need to make sure it's charged before each use which is really annoying. Also it can't be used while charging.
makes sense as if you only turn it off by the controller it is still powered on but just the lights are turned off. But how did you mount it to the pannier rack? Looks like a perfect setup for a rack, does it come with everything you need to do that? Thanks
Yup it’s drain the battery i was trying to find the same problem and here i am Also i find it if the environment too bright such as daytime, I can’t use it cause it detects light… also i’ve already testes it to shoot flashlight on where the laser beam comes from (i think it’s the right side) while it on, the light just dim out so… idk is it just me or what
Quite a good spot for mounting it, thanks. Did the same on mine build by drilling two holes on rack as it didn't have suitable ones, really like the way it looks
UPDATE: After you turn on the light manually, the remote does turn the light on and off. BUT, if you leave the light in that mode, it will drain the battery. ORIGINAL POST: Yeah, the remote will NOT turn on the light. You have to hold down the side button on the light itself to turn it on and off. That means you have to stop riding and turn it on old school. When you press a button on the remote (after you turn the thing on with the button on the side) a little LED will indicate which button you have pushed and simulate what is happening on the light. But if you hit one of the turn signals, the little light on the remote keeps blinking even when you turn that signal off.
UPDATE: We ordered one of these from Alibaba (2000mah) and one from Amazon (2200mah) for comparison. The Alibaba version was $10 cheaper but uses a low quality 2000mah 18650 battery. We can't even use that one because it's not reliable and cuts out mid way through short rides. Make sure you get the 2200mah or 2600mah versions!
I've got a question out of all these reviews that I see on this tail light does it have to be running on like the on position where it's lit up in order to be able to use the blinkers I'd like the idea that it would just be off and I could just use the blinkers and not have the light running all the time to use the blinkers and I've never seen anybody review this to let us know if the blinkers will work that way or not
Hi. I've this light. But my controller was broken and I've a new controller now but the controller doesn't control the light and controller's light doesn't work either. What to do?
Why they didn't include a mount to install it on rear of bike rack where you can see it makes no sense. I would have been happy to pay a little extra for the mount. While I really like the light, it does me no good attached to bottom of seat and after reading many comments on here I am not the only one.
Too big for a race bike and the light directions are not very understandable for the car drivers. It has to be more fast the flashing light for the direction. They seems normal lights, not direction. The good is the remote control. For a city bike it's ok this light.
I agree. Also the remote buttons are not easy to use while riding and braking. We need a system that functions more like motorcycle signals with a brake light and integrated to the main battery pack.
Hello! I have a problem with mine.I want the steady light function to be always on but if it gets vibration or if I turn the lightin my hand in a specific angle it starts a weird light pattern. I already taped the light sensor(3 layers) I don't know why is it doing this. It is so annoying, please help!
Yeah I've been having some reliability issues with mine too... maybe just poor wiring that can't handle the vibrations? I'd reach out to your seller see if they can get you a warranty.
Video sound is not good. Dead Silence in the middle of the video? Then the background music (when it comes back on is too loud) overpowering your voice.
The mount we used here is included with the light. It came with a seatpost mount and one that attaches to the bottom of the saddle rails. We were able to rig up the saddle rail mount to the pannier bracket by turning it upside down and using longer bolts.
it has a sensor that prevents use during day, but their is a workaround tutorial where you can cover the sensor with electrical tape on outside of device (an additional tutorial opened the device up to directly cover the sensor which apparently was more efficient)
Overall it's pretty good during the day... you just need to place a piece of tape over the daylight sensor it has otherwise it will automatically turn off when it senses daylight. I actually don't even use the turn signals. The handlebar buttons are too small. When approaching an intersection at 20-30 mph I can't be taking my hands off the brake lever and looking down for a little button. eBike designers need to start integrating turn signals and using motorcycle style flick switches for signals.
The mirror in this video is the CRG arrow: amzn.to/3bn2NNs It's pricey because it's made for motorcycles. I love it though, great visibility and solid, highly recommend it. Here's a less expensive knock off you could try... amzn.to/377OY24
UA-cam removed one of the songs I used and sometimes they just completely cut the audio. It was listed as copyright free but I guess the owner changed their mind or something. No se.

I daresay turning it off via the remote is more of a "standby"
@@Fromatic Did you get one and figure this out?

hi. do you have a video of how you mounted the tail lite on your rack? thank you.
Quite a good spot for mounting it, thanks. Did the same on mine build by drilling two holes on rack as it didn't have suitable ones, really like the way it looks
Finally somebody sort of explains how to use this stuff with a bike rack thank you!!
But mr genius didn’t show installing it on the rack. Some people has different rack types.
I like that it can mount on bike rear rack!

Trying to figure out how You were able to clamp it on the back-rack . Audio goes out for a few min when You begin to explain .
Very cool! Thanks for the video. You cannot be too visible!
Urban Cargo Bikes true that
how did you install it on the rear rack?

Can you please upload a video how u installed it on the rear mount of your bike??
Would be so much helpful if you will 😁
Thanks for the info! Do you have a link to the 2200 or 2600mah versions? Can’t find them on amazon

eBikeaholic thank you! The listing says 2000mah. Is it a description error? And overall do you recommend this light?
Great mount on the rear rack. Got to do some improvising with my lectric xp rack. My trunk bag blocks the light on the seat post.
I have the lectric xp step thru 2.0 and I mounted a basket to the rear rack. I ordered mine on amazon today so I'm supposed to get it tomorrow.
Hi, how did you attached the brackets at your rear carrier?
Need to know this as well.
I also would like to know how you mounted it on the back rack. The grooves are the wrong way to attach

*That light is super thick and bulky. No way it would find it's way on my bike.*
Where did you get that bracket? I have the Velocifero MAD scooter and I want to use this. Please tell me where you get that bracket.
William Salazar it goes with light
Which one is most likely better
( X5 taillight ) ( C1 taillight )

show complete install please.

I'm Interested in viewing daytime video of this one.
Does yours make a loud beeping noise when the turn signals are used? Is there any way to disable that? I hate the noise
hmm, no mine didn't make any noises. Maybe try long pressing different buttons? Otherwise try emailing the manufacturer.
Hallo, one of my laser light not turnon, do you know how to repair it?
Does it performs well during daylight ?
The red light is bright in daylight, but the turn signals are not great.
Breaking feature not recognised by EU road users as it flashes when it breaks apose to solid glow
Cut all voice over parts out when you come to the Issues with it
how is it durning the day using turn signals?

Now show us what it looks like breaking
That music gave me cancer
lol yeah lately I've been limiting the music to only a few seconds during the intro and outro.
Why is the audio in and out?
UA-cam removed one of the songs I used and sometimes they just completely cut the audio. It was listed as copyright free but I guess the owner changed their mind or something. No se.
Can’t hear half of ur vid
No audio after 4:38
yeah, copyright popped up for a "royalty free" song so they cut it out.
Thank you for the informative video, but man, what a bad taste in music :-( very annoying.
How did you mount it?
