Milk should be used sparingly as lactose spikes insulin levels and studies have shown it can make the bones more brittle.
Also the protein casein is inflammatory and may elicit a unhealthy immune system response or exacerbate leaky gut syndrome.
Dairy proteins directly stimulate the pancreas to produce insulin. Great if you're a young mammal but not so great if you're a grown human!
Good conversation despite the bad signal, thank you!

Please stop using the phrase 'skinny Minnie' for people who are underweight and struggle to gain weight it can be just as difficult and self confidence destroying as trying to loose weight. It would not be acceptable to use this sort of phrase to describe people who are overweight.

I'm in London and was affecting us. Suppose it's the satellite being knocked about.

So interesting, regarding milk, I've switched from skimmed to semi skimmed, bit nervous to go whole milk, is it considered better?

Liz prefers whole milk as it has a higher fat content which works for her approach to eating. Here's an article on fats for healthy weight management here, which you may find helpful ❤️lizearlewellbeing.com/healthy-food/fats-for-weight-loss/

The organic and unhomogenised tastes so much better. I changed.

Hi great video…….what size weights should we be using at home please.
Also do we really need to be adding protein powders, can we not get what we need from healthy eating.
I’m a pescatarian and feel I have an healthy diet, However would you still say I need to add this supplement.

How heavy weights you use depends on your current strength and fitness level - start at a lower weight and work up as you get stronger. Adjustable dumbbells can be helpful for this! Protein powders are helpful if you don't think you're getting enough protein or want to up your intake. If you think you're getting enough through your diet already, then you might not need! Hope that helps, Rachel (social media manager)

You might need supplements rather than buying all the food mentioned in information to you. For example, if you have a healthy well balanced diet and get some daily exercise and you say that nothing is changing, then whatever it us that you think should be changing, see if there is a supplement that can help. Eg, I an a raging insomniac, for over 30 yrs. I then tried the Marine Magnesium and after a wk, I was sleeping better. I'm coming to the end of the 2nd mth if ne taking it and I've never looked back. Sometimes, supplements give us more than just that well balanced alone diet.
