I love the intro and how it contrasts with the rest of the song. It represents Barlowe perfectly; On the surface he appears noble, but in the end, he was just as chaotic as Dracula.
A fun fact: this song, as well as many others in Order of Ecclesia use two leitmotifs: - Cross Your Heart (Haunted Castle/Arcade) - The Arena (Aria of Sorrow/Game Boy Advance)
Hard mode Barlowe is probably the most fun boss in all of Castlevania. Nothing can beat dive kicking through his fireballs and his fist rushdowns. His laugh during the electric shield rush is also 100x more menacing since it's so easy to die to it if you aren't over leveled
@@BknMoonStudiosAyyy, another Level 1 enjoyer! I really like how they designed PoR and OoE to accommodate Level 1 runs and that no-damage boss fights are clearly possible, if frustrating, from the medals they give you in OoE. And I love revisiting all these same bosses on a Level 255 cap data and just shredding everything. Cathartic.
Weird how a handheld Castlevania game without any Belmonts seems to be such a great entry in the series, especially with the music! Wonderful job as always Evelyn!
Long I have searched for a good remix of this song, and until today I have come up blank. Today, however is an amazing day in history! You never cease to amaze me!
This makes me think of a 3D adaptation of Order of Ecclisia. 0:00 - 0:13 could be the background music while at Ecclesia and from 0:14 onwards that's the boss theme for Barlowe.
I found you through your Boktai remix and have recently been listening to all of your other pieces. You must have worked so hard because the instrumentation almost always sounds like you've channeled the essence of the original while improving the mechanical aspects in every way you could. What a cool skill to have developed, my compliments!
One of my favorite themes ever. Always love to see more arrangements of it. Between this and your arrangements of The Prince's Despair and Strong One, it looks like I've found a new music channel to follow! Great work!
Fun Fact: Barlowe could very well be named after the villain of the same name from Salem's Lot. In my opinion it would have been pretty cool to see if Iga added more Stephen King based enemies and bosses if the series were to continue as normal.
「Hehehehehe! this! An idiot disciple! Also the gratitude that I raised! Forget it!」 When I learned that this rotten old man was the cause of everything, I held my breath with hatred.
Not sure if you take requests or anything, but I'd love to see you revisit some Fire Emblem tracks again. Your arrangements are just incredible I have no idea how your channel isn't bigger than it is. Consistent and quality uploads. If you do end up reading this, Twilight of the Gods from Shadows of Valentia is a fan favorite that's worth a re-orchestration imo :)

Well, the main melody in this one is basically "Cantus Motetten" from the same game.
Reminds me a bit of Blood Relations
😱 Agora que percebi isso!
Fighting after learning about Albus's resolve was exhilarating.

Agreed.
I did a Hard Mode Lvl.1 New Game run and Barlowe was easily the highlight.
Such a tough yet fair fast-paced battle.

my ass still CANNOT dodge the electric ball consistently, and I did most of the large cavern with the death ring
I can hear his maniacal laughter already

You're saying handheld as if that's a bad thing. All 6 GBA and DS games are great.
That 1 dislike is from Shanoa. She doesn't think Barlowe deserves an arrange this ball-busting good.
This comment made me image Shanoa ball busting Barlowe... bruh
Barlowe: How dare you?!
Or Albus
"Stupid disciple..."
*Barlowe. 2008*
Nice, I was recently playing Order of Ecclesia and I had this theme stuck in my mind.
Great arrangement.
EXCELLENT ARRANGEMENT as usual! I can hear that insane laughter now...
"MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA! DIE, SHANOA...!"
"HOW DARE YOU..."
EEEHEHEHEHEHE...
@@HarbingerYT YOURE FORGETTING!
I just bought Order of Ecclesia for my 3DS XL, super excited to play it and this makes me even more so :)
Long I have searched for a good remix of this song, and until today I have come up blank. Today, however is an amazing day in history! You never cease to amaze me!
oh man! I can still hear that laugh! Amazing arrangement!
Gaddamit where is my DS COMPILATION? I MISS THIS GAME!
Your Wish has been Granted.
Thank you
0:30 Emerson, Lake and Palmer says hello. :D
This arrangement is so great, that it expresses the sorrow, reluctance, and determination of Shanoa that she have to fight against her mentor.
this is the first version of this song that makes me really love it, great stuff!
This was absolutely fantastic! That prog organ sounds amazing and overall I like the dramatic but fun feel to this. Top notch work!
You nailed it.
A Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia remake shall be made with this OST one day. A magnificent tribute, I must say!

This is some of your best work and it's incredible.
Perfect! I love fight with barlowe

One of the best songs in the series, and you did such a good job covering it.
What a badass arrangement! I love it!!
I have no words for you...
I just want to listen to this over and over again...
This song has a strange final fantasy vibe to it I love it. Such a great boss too

Oh, my favourite castlevania with sot, furthermore this have one of the better ost of the games of all the time
Beautiful
As in what plays when we realise that we were playing as a pawn for a greater evil, rather than doing what they've been doing for the greater good?
This is beautiful!"😃😃💖💖

Excelent
How dare you!
Even forgetting
Who raised you,
You....
STUPID DISCIPLE!
