Thank you so much for all your information! It is so helpful. We are going on our very first cruise this November on the Meraviglia, in the Yacht Club and are so excited. We were hesitant after the whole Covid fiasco but are feeling comfortable now as more time goes on. Thanks again! Your videos are great.

Just convenience. If you want to be close to the pool or the lounge. There won’t be any noise issues
Great video. My wife & I are from Australia. We have now cruised with MSC in Yacht Club seven times. We cannot fault the experience. The best thing we find is the personalised service from the YC staff, they go above & beyond to make your stay on the ship an unforgettable experience. Although tipping on MSC is not expected we always give personal gifts and cash to all the crew who made our stay on the ship more delightful. Even the senior staff (Maitre 'D, senior concierge, etc.) loved our gesture of giving them Australian Flag pins.

Thanks for the awesone video. We also had Heather & Lez on our cruise on Meraviglia out of Port Carnival end of March. Both were Great. Craig the YC Director was Awesome!!!
One note flon our cruise the Pool Bar Restaurant was not open for Dinner. But the Foods was Great...

Once out of the Yacht club envirionment, and into the mob atmosphere of the common folks area (I've watched the videos), I would imagine you are on your own at the bars, clubs, musical venues, possibly the specialty restaurants, and other activities that are located in the main area of the ship. I'm not sure that a concierge or butler is going to follow you around outside of the Yacht Club confines. If I'm incorrect would like to know. I'm also having a time trying to book on the MSC site. For some reason will not give me any choice of staterooms for the Yacht Club. May have to go through Vacations To Go as I usually do for cruises. Just wanted to check the pricing and location of the stateroom that I would choose. Very easy to do on the websites for. Celebrity, Holland America, Princess, and NCL

Thanks for this review. We are cruising out of Brooklyn at the end of Sept on the Meraviglia to Bermuda for 7 days. Here's my question. We will be with our 8 year old son . Is "Yacht Club" kid friendly? Or will we find ourselves in situations where many of the private areas are Adults only? And or will having a child with us in Yacht Club areas potentially ruin the zen of other passengers? ( This will be our first cruise , so we are total novices in all aspects )
I have seen kids in there a lot. Like anything depends on the kids. If they are good it is totally fine. It’s not a quiet area for sure. People are having fun. They should have a blast

Thanks for the great review- You mentioned that you can sit in a special section at the shows, did that include the shows in the Carousel? Did you have to pay for the show or did that come "included?" (sorry if this is a repeat question, I noticed you said that you didn't need reservations so I was wondering if that meant you didn't purchase the tickets to see shows.) We leave in a couple weeks for our first MSC cruise!
The carousel shows are not included. You have to pay for those and no special seating for yacht club but easy to get seats. Thanks so much for watching. :)
Thank you for this honest review. Question regarding the private balcony whirlpool in some of the YC suites--this may be a silly question but is the water replaced each time new guests stay? I have seen a few videos on the Meraviglia and wondered if the water in those private hot tubs are replaced or does it just sit there all the time. Thank you!

It’s within reason. Grey goose is fine. I have had jack daniels and patron

There is a yacht club restaurant included but the specialty restaurants are not included

Hi, thank you so much for the information- we are looking to book a room in the YC but on deck 14 - do you know if it’s a closed off section ? Like you need to scan your watch to enter and/or can go down from the 15/16th floor from concierge desk ? I cant see it from the online floor plan … thank you!
Yes it absolutely is a scan area where you have to use your card for access. :)
Thank you for the information! Nobody knew (even the MSC customer service) whether the premium internet package that comes with Yacht Club is browse only or browse and stream. I guess I will need to upgrade. Is it cheaper to upgrade pre-cruise than onboard? Update: I can't find to upgrade the package online so called MSC again, then they did some research and telling me that the Yacht Club package is the best not needing to upgrade. Besides, if I want to buy, I will have to pay full price. So which is true?

Hi. We don’t. I’m not a huge fan of Aurea. I’m typically Bella or yacht club. I just don’t think you get enough for the money. Let me know what you think.
Is it worth the Xtra cost? Can you also use other amenities of the ship lif you were not a yatch club member?

Yacht Club is 5600 for two in a Deluxe Suite for that sailing.
On Cruise Critic, it has been discussed that YC includes internet access for 2 devices per person (so 4 in a double cabin), but in your video, you mentioned only 1 device per person. Did you try and access two per person? DW and I normally would have 2 devices each with tablets, phones, kobos, etc. TIA. We will be on Meraviglia in March, and loved your video.
Definitely only one device per person. We did YC on 2 ships and 2 different ships.
I had the same impression, I will call them tomorrow and verify.

We also will be going to bermuda in sept. We were married on the island in 1979 in warwick pagent. Trying to decide to upgrade to yacht club

Not completely. You get an hour a day
There area few reports of NYC YC guests having incidents with non YC guests when by-passing them on the lines to get off and on the ship. Did you experience this?

I know you mentioned in a previous video that you found it OK, with the caveat that it was the initial sailing out of Red Hook. I’m concerned that the Meraviglia is a huge ship that might exceed the parking capacity. Do you think my concern is valid? Thanks!
@@jackcorso-zc6pr it’s valid. It was packed. They have mentioned to me and they are recommending people using public transportation but I would get there early
