Additionally, we test the compatibility of PMT E Fire 10 x 3.0 tires with the Nami Klima model. However, during our evaluation, we discover that PMT tires are not suitable for this particular scooter. Therefore, we make the decision to revert back to the original CST tires and complete the installation and tire change with them.

Great video. For electric scooter Tubeless Tyres A foot pump is not strong enough to bead the tyre to rim. I found this with the Xiaomi , kaabo Mantis mini , Kilma and a few other scooters. You need compress air/air blaster to bead the tyre. Some would think they have a puncture after inflating but its really just the tyre that has either come off the bead or hasnt beaded to rim
Thank you for the video...can you please make a video where the motor housing isnt completely chewed up by metal on metal pry bars destroying the finish? I can't imagine bringing my scooter in for tire change and having it handed back like this (18:50). There has to be a way to protect finish while doing this, can masking tape be applied before the pry bars come swinging? 'Honestly wasnt that bad'. Lol 😅
They make little plastic things you can use to protect it. Seems like he made a guide without ever doing it on this model before.
I would hope one day Nami introduce a self healing tubeless such as what's already available on Apollo Scooters such as my current City Pro. I really want a Klima but having to change a tyre after a puncture looks like a total PITA

I read on PMT’s website that they’re working with Nami to make tires for them. The article was from february last year so dunno if it’s still in the works or not. 🤷🏼♂️

@@shanew7361yes they work, you need to strap the tyre and tight it when inflating, also helps to use that kind of glue that use in the tire shop
They do work, you just have to buy the specific 10x3.5 tires instead of 10x3

there now are 3.5s available which are perfect for the klima
To install the PMTs you need to make pressure to the circunference of the tyre with a belt and keep inflating and bouncing the tyre till it seals and inflates. I aleays suffer with my PMTs when I change them because are a bit narrow than the rim but ones inflated they fit perfect. Give them another try PMTs are on another level of quality ride.

They are compatible just need to use brake cleaner or carb cleaner or anything else that burns fast. Spray a little bit into the wheel and light it and the bead will pop onto the rim. Problem is just thtat the 10" 11" etc tires are small and the sidewall is strong so they dont want to go on the bead, they need a bit help

thought these things were a split rim, if so would make more sense to fit the tyre that way I would of thought.
Pretty sure split rim doesn't work with tubeless pneumatic tires... the whole keeping a seal thing is nullified by having a seam in the rim.
I had a Gotrax Gmax Ultra that had a split rim (great for easier flat and tread swaps) but you either had solids (still a bit of a PITA) or tubes
You are using the wrong PMT tyre thats why .. you need to buy the 90 PMT or 100 Pmt 6.5RR for both Nami and Kaabo wolf though scooters originally use 11 and 12 inch tyres the Efire 10x3 is a ten inch tyre

Unfortunately you will have to add the scratches yourself haha : )
Why did you inflate the tire with the valve in it to seat the bead, leave it out and put high pressure air to it and it should bead up, then install the valve and reinflate.
Also, my Klima has super stiff steering, I notice your steering moves much more easily than mine, mine sticks at speed and fine steering input is very difficult and dangerous, I've bought an assortment of spanner wrenches and have a good tool but after beating it with a hammer, I cannot get that damn headset bolt to come loose:(

No, not yet, I've ridden it more and I just can't get used to the stiction in the steering, I'm familiar with steering dampers from the motorcycle world so I know the benefits of stability by design and preventing headshake but this is too much, fine movements have to be a conscious thought. I have good spanner wrenches from adjusting motorcycle shocks and have tried to loosen the lock nut for the steering assembly but it is wicked tight, I'm going to contact fluid and see if I can buy the tool used at assembly, it's specially designed to work with this lock nut and is very long for additional leverage. I think it would be worth the risk on your part to try the Klima, it's a badass scooter and I seem to be the only one complaining about this issue. Oh, rear shock adjustment requires rear wheel removal so get ready for that. Oh, and mine is eating brake light switches, even the replacements are going bad, I'm down to my last two but expect these to go at any time, when they go, you have to back it out so it doesn't work otherwise the scooter is dead where it sits.
@@retrothruster2539always use a Heat gun to loose those nuestro or bolts for the first time because sometimes they have loctite.
it would of been easier putting cable ties on tighten the ties and it slips on easy try it and you can seat the tyre but you need gas of some sort it will work

You need a air bead bazooka.

Yup, the rims can sometimes take a beating when changing tires but they're strong and can take some abuse!

Could of used plastic tire levers so it didn't damage the rim
