I'm not an expert, so I'm just asking. Shouldn't you disconnect the negative side first so you can't accidentally arc out if you touch the vehicle with the ratchet and connect the positive side first when reassembling for the sane reason? Otherwise thank you for the quick concise video
If you don’t mind me asking, what vehicle were you working on, I have the same issue w my Nissan Altima 2015 S. Giving me a P1550 code for the battery current sensor. Would the sensor be on the negative terminal ?
Its Toyota Verso 2014 model, yes normally battery sensor is on negative terminal, its a good idea to check the battery terminal and cables aswell ( battery cables can be the cuprit too for battery current sensor fault code).
I have a Toyota estimate 2.4 with battery light on. Car dealer change both battery and alternator, after which the light stays on giving out 13.7 votes at both battery and alternator. The current sensor fitted on the + side of battery look’s broken would this make the light stay on.
I have a 2018!Chevy equinox and the code P16DC came up. I’m thinking it’s the same thing going with this car, battery sensor module. It says the alternator isn’t charging the battery.
i have a 2019 Equinox with the same exact issue. Car shuts off at stop light when AC is on. We first thought it was the alternator. But it turns out to be the battery sensor
