Storms of life and seasons of change are inevitable in all our lives. The promise of the Gospel is not that waves will not hit our boat; the promise is that Jesus is in the boat with us throughout clear and stormy waters. He anchors us through it all, empowering us to face any unknown ahead of us. When the disciples were afraid and panicked in the middle of an unexpected storm, they invited Jesus into their situation, where He brought calm and peace. We are invited to do the same, to embrace a life of faith and remember that He chose to be with us always as we journey with Him.
