Please see if u are considering this college. Cons: In rajagiri (kakkanad) they won't teach you in english. It will be mostly malayalam. Because it comes under mgu, exam dates are horrible. I wrote my last 4 sem exam within 6 months. Sometimes they (mgu) make u fail and u have pay them to recheck ur paper which takes months to come back. I gave 2 papers for revaluation and it costed 700/-. Faculty will be nice only if u are from their department. Means other department teachers are ur enemies. They will wait for u to make a mistake and go complain to the principal. Its not a college its just like a school. There isnt much exposure in this college. U write exam and that's it. They dont even provide you with graduation. No ceremony to hand over ur bachelor certificate. Pros On the positive side. Its cheap and U get good placements. But u have to work hard to get into them cause competition is high there. In this college classmates are really close and u will gave fun with ur friends. Ur department teachers will be nice to you. (Except BBA) SO MANY ANIMALS TO WATCH. food is good. Surrounded by cafe and fancy places to eat. Timings are better now. Classes get over at 2. On Fridays classes get over early for namaz. Buses are available. Overall if u just want a degree or if u are gonna continue ur dads business then go here. But if u want to study further and have bigger ambitions go to some other college.

Yes they have placements and no u dont have to be a top student to get through one but still competetion is really high. If u want to learn practically and immediately start working after college... choose a better a college. If u dont have any options left yes go for rajagiri kalamessry. That one has better exam schedules. I gave my 2nd sem to 6th sem exams within 6 months. Here u will only learn text book things. If u study here u will have to do certification courses to get a job is ur not selected in placements. Rajagiri is only good for its placements. U will get paid around 20k. Jon opportunities will be mostly sales marketing etc, rarely they provide other fields. I wanted to enter finance which wasnt there at all. And most of it was outside kochi.

I wouldn't need the placement thing because I'm considering doing cma or acca. How would you say the college atmosphere is tho compared to other colleges in kerala apart from academics? Is it worth studying there when thought from that perspective?

The major subjects you chose for your 11th & 12th grade. For example: If you took commerce stream in your 11th, the optional subjects can be Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics etc.

Bro now they are not offering b.com alone they are offering an integrated program that is b.com with ACCA. How to take b.com only? Is rajagiri is an private college they are asking about 2 lakh at the time of addmission why this much of fee in an autonomous collage?
And bcom in diff streams in the same. Just last 2 sem u will have that subject. And just take whatever is easy for you. Otherwise just focus on your acca completely

Try rajagiri kakkanad for cheaper, comes under MGU. But its bad. Kalamassery is better. U pay extra for better experience and hall
