Retrospectively, partnering with F&S was a great call Hombre. I was able to get an order in and every single bottle i got is either -completely unavailable locally -sold out locally with no eta And the prices were great. Basically just wrapped up my tequila hunt in one single order
Glad to see this review. The jalapeño came to Ohio 2-3 years ago. And although I enjoy bold spice, I have yet to try Tanteo as I didn't care for the production method and wasn't sure about the tequila infusion for just under $40. Now that they have switched and changed production methods for the better, I'll put it on my list. Glad to hear the site is doing well as Ohio only has the jalepeño. A couple questions: 1.) Which NOM was the infused habañero you tried in the video? 2.) Under the new NOM 1551, are you able to verify if Tanteo using the old or new production method for their infused tequila? TIA
Sorry for going off-topic, but I asked a question on a video a while back about being a bourbon guy wanting to get into tequila w/o getting anejos, and you suggested some tequilas for me to try. I got 4 high-proof varieties from the list you suggested and have been working my through them. They are very different from each other, but I've really enjoyed exploring them! I got Fortaleza Still Strength, G4 108 proof, Gran Doverjo High Proof, and Cascahuin plata. still training my palette, but the flavors in those are big and bold. Thanks for the recommendations. Question about this one: are there additives/flavors in this one? It seems this brand is big on flavored tequilas.
That is a solid line-up! I am glad you are enjoying them! Isn't it amazing the flavors you can get from a good blanco? So many people think they are only for cocktails and they couldn't be more wrong. Salud!
@@paulgraham4489 Those are solid choices to try, though I guess I'd have to admit I like some more than others (it's all personal, right?). The original suggestion list was those, plus Calle 23 Criollo and Don Fulano Fuerte. I just couldn't afford to get more than the 4 I got, which totalled ~$200.
Hey Mark I’ve tried lots of good tequila thanks to your channel. I thank you for your reviews. When you get a chance Id like to see you review Chamucos Blanco Tequila.
Thanks! This group I am with now is much better than Sip was. Better pricing too. You should try them. I agree.. Being self employed isn't easy.. Salud!
Hombre will you do one on Don Pilar extra Anejo? I really cant find anything on it I want to know if it’s an additive bomb or not, if it is so you don’t even waste time on it you can just comment back. Thanks for all the education I’ll make to keep it within the community. Salud!
This is one blanco they do occasionally stock locally. Nice
Its really good. The pepper infusions are good too!
My man started stuttering after the Habanero! 😂 Love the vid, great review!
Yes, that stuff made me sweat!
Gotta say man. You're likeable, and deliver on every video. I like watching
Glad you like them!
Great work as always Hombre! Always looking for new blancos.

They are using the new production method on all expressions. All of the samples I had were from 1551. Thanks for watching.

I have the Don Pilar Añejo coming up soon. That should tell you.
I agree that the Tanteo at NOM 1437 is absolutely horrible! Have not tried the new NOM...
New NOM 1551 is really good. Give it a try!
