hope you enjoyed this one! fun fact: the intro/outro song you hear is one i personally wrote, produced, mixed and mastered! that’s ME playing bass lol. song is title ‘Coffee at 2pm’ and is exclusively available on moodssounddesign.com 🎶 love you all, lots more vids to come 🧸
😂 ok total confession, your How I got shredded video came across my playlist one week ago today. That night I bought a series 8 Apple Watch. It arrived Tuesday evening last week. I set my move goal however didn’t close my ring. But W, TH, F, S, and today Sun 9/17 closed and then some. Got the watch, got the apps and my addiction is in full swing. Your vlog was the push I needed to push through the wall I hit. Thanks Bryan! 🤙🏼
Bryan has the most thoughtful minimalistic style I’ve ever seen. I would love to get a more in depth look on his design choices. Even the lighting positions you can tell are purposeful and accentuate the scene.
dang that really means so so much! i spend an incredible amount of time focusing on these kinds of details so for you to notice means the world! appreciate the love 🫶🏼🧸
Great point about excluding foods you love. I always try to cut out carbs or limit to 50grams per day and end up losing strength and binge eating sugar. Appreciate the videos
Hey Bryan, I fell off the “wagon” recently as I had a severe case of Vertigo. I haven’t worked out in almost six weeks, but look forward to getting after it again next week. This video inspired me to take my game to the next level. Thanks. ✌🏾
I love your videos Bryan , I decided to follow calories step by step same as you , following calories with this accuracy will definitely get you in the right path , thanks 🙏🏻
Great tips here, and beautifully edited! Love the lighting and colors 😊📷 Walking and intermittent fasting are two personal tips to stay on track, together with high protein and strength training 🚶♂️💪🔥
@@BryanAdamCastillo I am watching all of your fitness and Apple Watch videos. I already switched from a TDEE calculator to simply looking at my Apple Watch used calories info. Gonna do some research about you sound company as well as my company is searching for a composer.
Geat video dude! Appreciate the effort you've gone to on this one. Awesome edit too, makes the video so much more enjoyable to watch and absorb that good info. Always got a sick thumbnail too (love the creativity Bryan). Stay after it my man! 🫶🤌🏼🔥🫡

thanks a ton man! means a lot! currently playing with some ideas on how i make my content, will likely be multiple videos cause it’s a LOT but hoping to start sharing more soon!
I've never tried a cut with that many carbs, somewhere once upon a time Muscle and Fitness magazine recommended low carb on a cut so I have gotten used to that. I've also never been that cut.
Thanks for sharing the move rings vs my fitness pal info This is what I need to be sure I 'm calculating the things in a good way since I saw you in a video doing it, I started and was very easy and funny. so thanks again and... peace ✌️ 😅😊
7:33 You say track the items before you cook them for more accurate calorie count. Wouldn't it be better to weigh the food after you cook it, because that's closer to how you consume it?
thanks a ton! seriously means a LOT! i never aim for a step count on any given day. my only concern is my move goal, because that is a big factor that contributes to my daily total caloric output. hope that helps!
Weekends are the hardest for me... During the week I have it all planned, meals, workout etc... Routine!! Then all changes when I get to the weekend. Its not just me I have to include in my plans anymore, I find it really hard to predict. Do you have any specific strategy? Keep it up... Love your vídeos and inpiration 💪
Personally I try to always plan out the weekends too, but find them easier since there's no work, and hence lower need for mental clarity and having energy. Prioritizing staying busy and intermittent fasting are my two personal tips to avoid snacking, and aiming at lots of walking 🚶♂️😊👌☀️
yeah weekends can be tricky, especially if you’re a little too deprived/too steep of a calorie deficit during the week. i still stay very active on weekends and track as much as i can. BUT, having days where you’re not so focused on the tracking/workouts is VERY IMPORTANT! we need that mental release/balance. i might make a video on how i do weekends! cheers! let’s stay freaking AFTER THIS, yeah?! 🥵🧸

thanks a ton man! total calories is BMR (or maintenance cals) + active cals (workout cals) so yes, you’re correct! thankfully the Apple Watch does the math on all of this!
I appreciate your amazing content bro! Just wanted to ask in terms of macros, let's say I ordered a burger sandwich or any sandwich for that matter, since it's already prepared from the restaurant how can I calculate its Macros? Thanks again champ!
Do you consider the effects of your diet long term, specifically it seems like over half your diet is made of highly processed foods rather than natural foods? (Energy drinks, protein bars, flavored yogurt, chocolate and ice cream). Or are these specific foods not made with harmful chemicals? Can’t argue your physical results though, great job!
it honestly varies, sometimes i’ll prep chicken or ground turkey for the week. i ensure i’m eating plenty of fruits and veggies as well! i will say though, tracking food is MUCH EASIER when the majority of your meals are the same day after day haha let’s STAY AFTER IT THOUGH, you down?! 🥵🧸
Yea I can’t wait till I move out and have full control of the food I’m eating. But that’s what I plan on doing. I’m still losing weight though and have lost close to 45 pounds so far. I still have that sweet tooth tho…
Yea and we always have it laying around the house and I can’t say no… I’ve been trying to buy the healthier options but I always go for what’s on the counter… Need to be better
I love this channel. It was because of one of your previous videos I now have an Apple watch to track my calories burnt and I can honestly say I will never be without it, so thank you. You know there's a but coming though right...with all due respect I am amazed how much mass produced food you ate and how little proper whole food was consumed in your full day of eating. You look amazing, but I cannot help but think this is not a healthy diet (in my unqualified nutritionalist opinion) to be on. I would've thought it would've contained grassfed meats, a lot more vegetables, nuts and fruit instead of protein bars, icecream cones and low % cocoa chocolate. And the energy drink with all that crap in it instead of a freshly ground coffee...genuinely surprised.
i consume a massive about of organic meats, plenty of fruits and veggies and ensure i’m hitting micronutrients. i would say the majority of my diet is in fact whole foods. some foods here are for efficiency-sake, particularly during the day. sometimes i meal prep chicken or ground turkey. keep in mind, this is simply one day and not all days look the same for me. i don’t prefer coffee as well. i really just don’t have the time to cook fresh whole foods for every meal of the day 😅 stay after it fam!
@@BryanAdamCastillo Hi, I appreciate the reply. That's good to know as I was under the impression that this was not a day in isolation but a 'regular/ standard' day.
Thanks for the video. Your system sounds great but how do you stick to your system when you are not at home? It seems you work from home full time and also your gym equipment is your own and is at your home. So you can workout whenever? How do you weigh your food when on holiday or away from home? If you are away from home working for the day or for each day over several days do you bring food for your meals with you? How do you manage this if you are eating a meal out as a one off, for an entire day or for 2 weeks? Buying a sandwich for lunch at the store? You cannot weigh the sandwich right? It seems to me your system and success is great and Kudos to you but your life and the way you live it doesn’t seem to translate to a person who works 8-6 in an office somewhere? Do you ever decide you want a huge ice cream when out? How do you deal with that within the system you have?
