We ran a cable from the belt pack to our UR22 recording interface. Then we put it into Cubase, which is the software that comes with the Steinberg UR22. Bottom line is you run the belt pack into a recording interface (UR22) and into your software of choice (Cubase). - Edge
You may have the wrong number of contacts on your line in to the phone. Most have a four contact connector, and if you're using one with only three it will most likely not recognize it as a mic input, but rather as a headphone output.
Hello. Once the headphones are connected, is it normal that the sound of the trumpet can still be heard in the room? I used to think that once the headphones are plugged in, the person next to me can no longer hear what I hear on the headphones, but that's not the case.
It’s a mute, it still produces sound just reasonably not as loud. It just lets you hear what you would normally hear but deafened for others around you.
Hi, I live in a flat so this device is perfect for me, but I do not get the sound that you are getting, mine has much more echo, are you putting it through something that is cleaning the sound,I am not a tech person, but can understand if it is explained ok.
On the belt pack there are two reverb selectors, labeled 1 & 2. One is a fairly dry reverb sound, which is what we used, and the one you are most likely using is attempting to recreate concert hall reverb to give it a more stage performance sound. Hope this helps - Edge
Hi thanks for reply, its not the reverb,i keep that on low setting as it can't be turned off,but it is a distinct echo.If you get a moment check out the video on youtube by Woodwind&Brasswind (Tony Guerrero) testing the S/Brass kit out, His sound is amazing from it,but he must be putting it through some form of Audio Interface.I would really appreciate your thoughts on this as i'm not getting any responce from him,and i'm really intent on finding out how this works. Bob.
I'm sold! I've wanted this for years, and now I think I'm going to take the plunge!
I just have to figure out which horn to get it for first.
Hi, I want to know, how do you connect the silent brass to the computer?
Greetings from Spain
Can you explain how you plug in your silent brass to record?

I have tried to run a cable through the belt pack, however my phone (my recording device) does not pick the silent brass up as a microphone

So I need to find an auxiliary cable with 4 connector points?
