Absolutely need to show us your mustang. I had a 66 coupe in the 80’s in high school. In the 90’s I had the full road race suspension in it with a 408 stroker engine. Sadly I sold it in 96 when I was up in Oregon before moving back to SoCal. I miss that car everyday!
@@brokenwrench404 oh yeah, it was really stock when I got it. The plan was a trans am inspired car. It has a 6 point cage, factory toploader car, I built a 347 for it, etc.
Show us all the cars. Love seeing all the old rigs. Get that cover off the Mustang and "don't get it right, get it running." Something else to start searching market place for are 60's and 70's "airport" cars. Check out the Roadkill episode with the airport car they found, good stuff.
If I had a dipstick reading problem I would do and oil change so I would know the level and then mark the dip stick with a cut in the edge of the stick. That way you know where the full level is. Cheaper than a motor and a lot less work.
@@tedwalker1370 yeah, i have never put my eyes on his exact scenario, but that was my first thought as well. I am guessing the dipstick itself is too short. I would be a fan of doing the motor if the 318 became a 360 and the compression was bumped up a bit! That is not my dad’s style though.
@ I hear you. I used to have a dodge van. It was a panel nice rims and tires headers and dual exhausts on a 318. I’m a little older than your dad. So it was a popular time for those vans
