There is an an anecdote, that Swami Rama has discussed in a book, "At the Feet Of A Himalayan Master by Swami Rama."
The Bee Mantra From A Sat Guru:
This person received a Bee mantra, you know. you have the Bee mantra, the bees won't sting you. So the guy who received the mantra from the Guru went and got a big beehive and then their bees did not sting.
The Bee Mantra From A Guy:
And then he wanted to test if it would work if he gives it to someone else. And then he gave to someone else and this guy went and climbed up the tree to get the Beehive. And every bee started to sting this fellow.
So this story is not a story; this is an anecdote that he mentioned in his book, "At The Feet Of A Himalayan Master." it's a great book.
Receive Your Mantra From The Guru:
So you have to receive it from the Guru or you should be authorized by the Guru to teach it to others. That's important.

And in the case of Shreem Brzee, the person who discovered this Sound, after meditating for 1,500 years, is Vishwamitra who was previously an emperor who wanted to give an emperors' life to every one of his citizens, but it couldn't be done in other ways other than through a divine method.
And that is the sound, Shreem Brzee, that according to Vishwamitra who gave me this mantra will give you a royal life. But you have to use it properly.

You may chant when you would like.
There is no hard and fast rule. You know, If you just say it for 10 minutes, 15 minutes, you can say it.
Here's what Dr. Pillai recommends:
If you want to say it all through the day, you can say that, you know. The ideal is to say for 10 or 15 minutes a day where, when you will concentrate on it.
Generally speaking, you should not miss Friday. Friday is Venus’s energy. Venus’s energy supports wealth. So, at least that time you should do it.
Some students use the Hora Watch to chant during Venus Hour (Hora Watch available as a mobile app at www.AstroVed.com ). Venus Hour comes every day, so use the Venus Hours, even the Horas to do that.
10 to 15 minutes would be ideal. And then, all through the day you’ll hold this thought in your mind. ~ Dr. Pillai

Yes, you may want to use a clicker to tally your chants throughout the day. You may find it more powerful to chant for an hour straight since you will be so focused and not distracted. However, you may find it practical to do it throughout the day. Experiment and see what works best for you.
