SEAL GIRL CLAPPING HER FLIPPERS (selkie silliness) - This video shows a female selkie clapping her hands and her flippers together in an effort to mimic a playful seal. The person in this video is me. I am wearing a swimmable selkie costume made with fake fur and recycled materials.
This costume was made by @kaitlynbloomfield23 I am so, so excited to take it for more swims in the future!

PLEASE NOTE:
Selkies are a mythological creature from Celtic and Norse stories. Traditionally, selkies are depicted as shapeshifters who can change between a seal form and a human form, depending on if they are wearing their seal skin or not. This version of a selkie is mermaid-like. This was Kaitlyn's idea and I love it so, so much!
