Ah yes. The fine art of Hot Buttering ... A couple QOL/immersion mods that I'd like to recommend. Board Game Exp randomly gives Charisma exp and/or Reputation w the Clan you're board gaming with when you win a match. Immersive Sergeant adds a Sergeant to each unit that verbally relays your orders to their perspective units and you also hear a horn blowing after each sergeant relays the orders.
some immersion mods should be customizable. I don't want my small band to be that professional. It takes away from roleplay. Can you enable the sergeant mod mid campaign?
Taleworlds introducing broad, game changing mechanics sure brings modders allot of work to iron out. The game is still in it's wrought iron smithing phase i guess. I havent really gone back to playing bannerlord myself for the last 6 months, since i feel like nothing substancive has been added since the time after release. You continuing the mod videos give me a glimpse of what the game could eventually become. Keep up the good work!
I think depending on what culture you select, you should know about the noble clans with that culture. So if I pick vlandia then I know all the vlandian clans while foreign ones are unknown. The only exception to this rule would be faction leaders. I think if you rule a kingdom or empire, everyone would at least know your name. Common folk like companions, village notables, artisans, merchants etc should be for the player to discover as these people are not well known outside of their local community.
And that would give the player a reason for exploring the settlements and taverns, for as of right now, there is absolutely no reason to explore anything in the cool scenes on the game, and that's a shame, give me a reason to go into a settlement and explore ffs
About the succesion mod, I think it's very cool! However, that the Aserai have primogeniture instead of male primogeniture doesn't make sense to me. The Aserai are obviously based on Arabs and the Arabs barely had any female rulers throughout their history, at least not any large female rulers with the title of Queen or Sultana. I think it would be more fitting if Vlandia had primogeniture instead of Aserai since Vlandia is based on Western Europe (I think), and those nations have historically had many female sovereigns. Just my opinion.
No, Medieval Europe rarely saw the rise of a female ruler, plus Bannerlord is a low fantasy medieval setting so it makes sense for all nations to have a female sovereign,
However, in my personal opinion I wish it stuck closer to Medieval historicity and the actual only faction that should have a lot of female leaders is the Khuzites since they're based on Mongolian and Turkic hordes in which women had a higher status compared to those of Arabia and Europe.
Aserai have hereditary merit currently. They will eventually get their own version of it - it took a hot minute to debug the mod when I was done. Thanks for your feedback!

Not sure how this happened but my version of the game must be glitched, because even though I'm past patch 1.10 the fog of war feature never showed up in my game. And I'm glad lmfao
I havent used the "Know everyone" but do it have MCM? so for instance you only know all in your starting kingdome. I mean for sure you'd know all that lived in your, but I cant see that you should know everyone in all the others. Overall this featured they made with haveing to meet everyone - just isnt that great to me - I wish this as other "huge changes" they do could be toggled by Taleworlds. Cause in all honesty I hate it, really tiresome mechanics. (glad modders fix it though)

In one of the M&B: Warband full MOD's, there was a system where as an army, you could set up a camp. It could be just one for a day or two, or a more permanent one when you'd erect some fortifications around it. You'd also choose whether to post guards or not. And once the camp was set up, you, the player, could then leave your whole army there and go out alone, or go out with just a few selected soldiers.
I'm getting very tired of the laziness of games companies, I bought Bannerlord when it released and I'm just disappointed with it's development. The game launched very rough, with next to no content, the devs have added next to nothing since them. I'm referring to armors, more troop trees, new mechanics, more scenes. Sure they have added some here and there but lets be honest everyone paid full price for an alpha that took 10+ years to make. TaleWorlds made bank on that alpha Bannerlord was massively successful. Everyone bought the promise of a bigger, better, modern day Warband. What have they been doing? Fixing the siege AI, and it's still broken, making balance changes to the same 50 armors they added at launch, they just finished making the perks that have been in since launch functional and some are still broken. Or how about how 80% of the dialogue options that you can see in the dialogue menu do nothing, And there's still so many problems and so much missing content, but why be so hard on this indie dev company making a passion project? You don't get to gross millions and millions of dollars and get the benefit of the doubt. Hire more devs, build a professional team with your earnings, build your company after you struck gold. Or don't I guess they do it differently in Turkey. Props to the modders I'm just tired of needing 30+ mods to get the game playable. Seriously the devs can't add fucking diplomacy? Or simply serving as a soldier in an army? We need modders to pain stakingly add more armors to the game because the devs have refused to? And even when you load this game up with mods that fix and add everything thats missing, once you get to the mid game the mechanics break down the AI struggles to fight each other they constantly spawn cheat armies and there's no reward for gameplay. Nice you can afford the 270,000 denar helmet that spawned and it's +3 armor better than your current one. Wow.
Actually fog of war bout lords is kinda make it more realistic, like if u lived all ur life in western empire as a farmer or a hunter how the heck u know the rulers and other nobilities of other kingdoms? Like when u were chopping the trees they casually stopped by ur location in the wood and said "Hey there Jamie! Long time no see" and u starring at lord of the kingdom after a few secs " ehy yooo buddy, how ya doing mate? Its been 15 years since we last hang out together, wanna grab a beer after i done chopping my trees?"))
That Last one is kinda not my style I kinda wish there was a middle ground like at least knowing of your chosen cultures people to some extent and all originally neighbouring factions central leader and maybe being able to add sections of vague info by talking to people in villages or towns and learning about who owns the fief and maybe their family or clan etc from locals governed by them even adding details you wouldnt have known originally like a tab that says this persons fiefs are unhappy and likely to revolt if you incite it etc. I like the idea of what they're trying to do but it's not involved enough yet so I get the mod to just undo it but it'd be better if we had the concept just fleshed out to be more interactive and immersive.
I'm able to mail people, I don't know if it is a part of know anyone, some other mod or a new vanilla thing, but I like that it makes it so I don't have to hunt people down to talk to them so much. I pay 100g and in 3 days I get to talk to them from wherever I am on yhe map.
Thanks for the awesome vid :) although I'm going to have to wait to play now. The last update crashed my game because half my mods haven't updated :( I tried playing the last version of the game but it still crashes (I think because half my mods automatically updated for the new version). And the kicker is there was absolutely nothing in the last update that excites me at all 🙄
On your comment about fog of war. You could use the education/book mod in this video as a way of introducing current information about the clans through scrolls you can read in major towns or keeps. And perhaps once you become part of that clan or a mercernary you are continually updated through scrolls about clan movements and what is going on in that part of the world (more of flavour than actually having to read scrolls constantly). I imagine you could eventually have libraries in major towns/cities to provide that area for wealth of knowledge. Perhaps devising a system where reading books will increase your learning multiplier which can be a good offset to if you have already allocated your skill points in the early game but dont want to go down the route of just respecing
i was about to download the first one until you said that the illustrations of the mod are AI made, i know modders cannot afford to pay commissions to an artist or hire one, but is way better to do it yourself even if you think that it will not look that good. dont get me wrong, AI can be used in gaming to many awsome things like the CK3 project mod to speak with bot rulers, or the Bannerlord project mod that creates missions, but AI art is stealing not only the style of known artist but also is preventing many artist to emerge.

Recommend Immersive Sergeant because it also makes your units battle cry when they charge.
