I’ve had Version One of that bag for just over a year now and it’s all I use anymore - Over the last 10 years, I’ve tried 2 other single-carry bags and this one is cleanest and holds the most stuff. 90% of my travel is 1-2 nights on planes and it’s perfect. It was even better on a 2 week trip to Asia last summer, where I had a small 21” roller bag and this for all carry-on travel. So clean, without clutter. Well done team. I am interested in the smaller bag too and look forward to reviews of that one as well.
Patagonia Blackhole is a backpack, not a duffle bag. Basecamp dufflel is $140 less expensive, doesn't have a laptop compartment or multiple access points, and is a lot uglier.
The bag weights 2lbs. Not sure if you'd consider that light or heavy. This bag does feature a luggage pass-through if you're traveling with hard shell luggage.
The duffel is so much more elegant than the backpack
Definitely a classy look
i have the new Pakt one bag. 35L is perfect. it's a great bag and distributes weight well. Great review, Chase, thanks!
Does it fit under the plane seat as a personal item? I heard some airlines are very strict with the dimensions - like Spirit

How his your shoulder holding up after carrying that big heavy bag around?
Why is not available in white like it shows here the 28 l version? Such a shame, it looked so great guys bring it back please 🙏
Does the 35L fit under the seat as well? ?
Is it still true the black one is more water resistant and more durable than the others?
Nice … do all the other colours have the same grey interior as this one? (Or is there a cheeky gold like in the old blue bag?!)
Yes, on this version, all the bags have the same fabric & color (it's a 70D light grey recycled nylon and has a finer handfeel than V1)
This vs. the Patagonia Blackhole vs. TNF Basecamp duffel ???? THOUGHTS?

Small enough to slide under the cabin chair?
Yes it would! Check with the airline carriers for specific carry-on sizing.
What are the differences from the V1?
Given V1 is half off right now, the difference is exactly $147US...
Would this be too small for a one week trip?
Depends on what you pack, but we have definitely used this bag for 1-2 week trips in the past
does the smaller size one has all the external features as well?
apparently, it's exactly the same. just 7 L smaller, but all same features and pockets
Will the 28L work as a personal item?
That's right, they have all the same features, just a little less packing space on the interior.
@@smnewell It should work on most US airlines
I went to pakt site for a v2 backpack , they are now $512 😂😂 what a joke on price
That's strange! Our Travel Backpack starts at $325 USD. Are you an international customer?
It looks very thick and heavy.
Good luck carrying that bag.

Just use a school bag. It's thin and light
