More parents need to realize that the main responsibility of being a parent is to protect their kids. If they're the ones that the kids need protection from, that's the problem right there.
I'm glad my parents are supportive. They even wanted to provide money so I could get surgery. I declined. I prefer to earn things, even though I won't be able to afford it for another couple years.
I’m in a polymorus relationship with two girls, and I’m genderfluid, all three of us got together and literally nothing has changed from when we were best friends except for the fact that I can openly ask for cuddles now, our relationship is so chill and I honestly really love it. I don’t know how some people can have a relationship go so wrong, but I guess you really just need someone who’ll suite your personality and respect certain boundaries, at least that what I look for in a person, and it’s what I got ^^ Stay safe singles out there, don’t get yourself into a toxic relationship, you’ll end up like my parents or all the not ok straights in this video
I lucked out in having great parents, they're just super-besties who love each other and fuck. That's what I want. A life with my best friend whom I love. Hope things go great with your girlfriends for you!
Hi! i'm also genderfluid and poly so this is amazing! sadly i'm single right now but this is really the relationship I want and this is what people should think about when thinking of poly relationships, not cheating or wanting a harem. Hope your relationship stays good forever and that your all very happy w/ eachother!
I only recently came to terms with the fact that I am pansexual and would most likely be happier in a polyamorous relationship. I think it is an open and honest way of being. But I am extremely asocial so I don’t know if I will ever have a relationship or what type it will be. But it always makes me happy hearing about others’ experiences.
Check a potential partner’s hands. Training with a sword leaves distinct callouses, if they don’t have these they won’t be much help on your quest to slay the dragon. Then again if they have burns or runes on their hands, they are likely a mage, so will make a good partner for your quest.
First off, let me just say that everyone should avoid mages that specialize in memory magic. Second, let me just say that everyone should avoid mages that specialize in memory magic. Finally, let me just say that everyone should avoid mages that specialize in memory magic.
@@Stroopwafe1 Scar are usually left when a wound is healed improperly. With mundane medicine that might just means that the original wound was done by blunt or jagged weapon, or that it was deep. With most magic healing, the spell will completely fix the damaged area, unless the magician is not proficient enough or the wound is linked to the target soul (for instance, if the scars are part of the target identity). While I guess that the healer might use more regenerative spell (boost natural healing), might not be able to heal themselves (happens sometimes) or want to keep the scars (for instance, to remained them of a person they couldn't save), generally I would assume that a magical healer is less proficient if they have scars - unless I know they were in some fight where not having enough energy to fully heal themselves make sense. All of this before you consider that in most magical setting, healing can be used to simply fix physical damage later on, so scars can be removed.
"Periods are feminine and girly!" Yes. Yes the monthly all out no holds barred fist fight between my uterus and mother nature is very delicate and possessing of stereotypically female features. (Edit) Y'all I am loving this thread of comments.
No to mention the "femininity" of wanting to die because of CRAMPS ARE MOTHER FUCKING HELL! Plus the fact that one of the more (though disliked) common ways to get rid of a period is to go through one of the most PAINFUL experiences of in humanity by carrying and pushing a SMALL, LIVING BODY out of yourself. SO FUCKING FEMININE AND DELICATE! This is why I want a wife....
@@ReneeAH-2008 You probably heard about em a few times already, but I can really recommend reusable pads! My cramps virtually stopped when I started using them, the bloodbath is way less severe, and I just clean em in the shower (and throw them in the wash after the period has ended). I got mine from Cariona, but there's more suppliers out there I'm sure. Better for the environment, your wallet and your body, apparently - disposable pads seem kinda sus to me now.
I really want to know what seems feminine about a body vomiting out its own blood because you didn't get stabbed by a mans crotch snake in your axe wound.
about the "straight people joking about hating their partner infront of queer people thing" - yes. It's great. However, other straight people having the same reaction (confusion and disgust) is even funnier to me. They really think just because someone is straight they'll validate their grossness huh... Great every time
I wonder how it would play out if you just got very concerned about how they seem so unhappy, sympathetically patted them on the back and told them you can help them look for a therapist to help them get out :))
It also speaks to how many people feel forced into a traditional marriage, when it might not have been the best thing for them personally. A lot of gays or lesbians have felt forced into a straight marriage, even going so far as to raise a family, because that's what society expects, and they would face discrimination and violence otherwise. There are a lot of trans people who enter into relationships as their AGAB for the same exact reasons. When it's not about love but about obligation, marriage becomes weaponized, only these straight people don't realize or don't care that it's hurting them as well.
I remember my family pressuring me to get married before moving in with my partner. We still aren't, officially, yet my relationship with my partner has lasted 11 years (we started dating Jan 2011) and we love each other. We decided against having kids because we knew we weren't ready for them and we take our time with the big life choices that would financially impact us, yet we're always there for each other when we need to be. Measuring your relationship by someone else's yard stick is the most hurtful thing you could do. Find the person who works for you and take it at a pace that makes you happy. Ideally, you should be able to spend a lifetime with the person you love.
I don't think it matters if you're gay, straight or Optimus prime. If people think their partner talking to people, plainly talking to them, is cheating then heavens no, don't go near them!
@@Elysi4n991 It's a very bad one; statistically, men talk _and interrupt_ more than women do. Also, kids often pick up the message of the "joke" seriously, so even if i'M nOt SeXiSt It'S jUsT a JoKe, continuing the jokes tends to keep sexism alive.

The lack of self awareness by the Trevor Project poster. No, you’re child feels like they need to hide information from you because YOU have created an environment where they feel unsafe to do so. 🙄
Its sad how some parents don't realize they were the ones who created that divide. How, we feel the need to hide info from them because of their actions. Also, I thought the poster was very informative on why they have it as a secretive thing. I really respect the Trevor Project for doing absolutely everything in their power to be a safe space for lgbtq+ youths.
I'm in that exact situation lmao My mother kinda just,,, lightly emotionally abused me, mostly bc she thought that that style of parenting was a-ok (her mother tried to legitimately murder her 3 different ways on more than 8 occasions. Not joking.) and she never physically abused me, I don't think But, she has created a space in the house where I don't feel safe sharing shit with her, out of fear I might be yelled at or punished in some way. I mean, shit, I lost 8 pairs of earrings to her tantrums that got triggered by her attaining something I did or said to me being trans (she trashes my room to the point where you can't even fucking enter the damned thing). Her most recent outburst was over 3 fucking cardigans that I literally never wore. She thought I wanted to get rid of them bc masculinity shit. No, I just... didn't want them to collect dust :( They were pretty and deserved someone who'd appreciate them and wear them often ❤️❤️ But, yeah, I'm scared of actually telling her the truth since 7 and sharing information about me since I came out at 13. :/ Remember this, reader: *Be wary of how you behave and react with your children. Always make sure the child has a safe space no matter the issue, and never jump to conclusions nor immediately punish them for doing something. Hear them out and let them speak.* This is from experiencing a mother who consistently assumes shit about me because I don't tell her things because she makes me feel like I'm going to be punished for telling her about myself.

Yes, if the bride knows, the groom knows, they both are really happy and on board. And ideally both went to their “most likely to be insulted on couple’s behalf” connection and said hey, something might happen that would be inappropriate without our knowledge and consent, so check our expressions before getting mad at a fellow guest. You know, the aunt who would otherwise tell new additions to the group that Pat and Charlie just ruined a wedding, the attention hogs, because they’re sure that Sam and Morgan just *said* they knew to make peace, the poor dears. I joke that Uncle Paul is my “double uncle.” He was roommates with my dad in the military, 1970s. Great friends. Paul met Karen. As happens, group activities including Paul, his roommate, Karen, and her sister/roommate happened. Paul and Karen were married in like 6 months and my folks were not together yet, but… Grandma was routinely inviting him to dinner and he’d met at least a few of my dozen great aunt and uncle pairs. Dad is too deeply private to have done this even if they were already paired. But it’s the type of situation where I can readily see consent being given (…hopefully including the bride or groom being sure that yes, the person who is being asked was thinking marriage, and seen their reaction to public proposal vids or something!)
the one about periods being feminine and girly was making me dysphoric (since i'm a trans boy too young for HRT), but then i remembered that just a few days ago, i was able to get meds to stop my period from the gender spectrum clinic at my local children's hospital :] so now i don't have to deal with that added dysphoria and stress for a week every month, which is really great ^w^

Yeesh. Possessive cis-hetero women (alongside similarly possessive cis-hetero men, of course) are proof that the problem isn't just individual sexism, it's the entire social landscape. It's like the relationship version of systemic issues.
@@SaintShion Yeah, they'd rather deflect from their inappropriate behavior than actually acknowledge it and take some of that personal responsibility they're always (generally) talking about.
The problem is patriarchy. Special groups of people. Patriarchy is a concept that has been instilled in us since birth. It's influence starts to get less each generation but it is still there. Patriarchic belief are that women and womanly things are inherently worse /weaker than men and manly things. It's the concept in peoples brains we need to fight - not the people itself.
@@CristalianaIvor The problem is human nature. Trust me, I'm no stranger to being belittled because of patriarchal ideas. Those ideas are just the way that basic human nature manifests itself through the average cis-het man. Cis-het women can manifest that nature in different ways, just look at TERFs. There are many concepts and tendencies in people's brains that need to be addressed, and if people in general don't take responsibility for bettering themselves and their behaviors toward others, the social landscape will never change, and even if people truly embrace the importance of Femininity on a grand scale, that won't be enough to heal the deep damage that lies within the human psyche, and something horrid will inevitably rise up to take the place of patriarchal oppression.

Fun fact adult female wolves are actually the alphas. Since they are the ones that teach the kids how to hunt and how to survive etc. Edit: this is the most comments/likes I’ve ever had on a comment. I don’t know what to say-
Another fun fact to add to yours is the person who initially studied the wolf hierarchy got it wrong and stated so himself its actually a family unit no fighting to be alphas just peaceful being a fam the original experiment was a bunch of random wolves like a prison yard thing so the study was wrong. Also the oldest one walk in front to set the pace for the rest of the pack.
@@KnightDemonZZ and yet, people still say they have to beat their dogs to be the alpha since that study was Obviously Right and the person was Obviously Paid To Say It Was Wrong.
@@roxiehodges226 Hey. Psst. C'mere. What's the stereotypical advice everyone has when you go to prison? Something something find the biggest guy and kick his ass something something that's how you'll survive. The singular 'alpha' wolf only works if none of the members of the pack are related, otherwise the related members will gang up on the singular alpha jerk just trying to collect partners and proliferate because he doesn't care if any one of *the others* die in the struggle, he only cares if *he* dies because then its game over for his genes. Natural wolf packs don't need to invoke this desperate behavior because everyone is either related to each other or have children in the group that benefit from the mutual protection. Thus new mates are required to be cool or invoke the wrath of the entire family who would like to make sure their genes keep going and couldn't care less about a big burly alpha intent on murdering all the nice family babies that currently exist for the sake of desperate jerk babies. If there's no family protection though? Then its open season, capiche? This doesn't cover all circumstances, but this is the most accepted explanation of the behavior which is more nuanced and thought out than "Unga bunga am strong and so am best leader. Listen and make unga babies or I punch. This natural order" The funniest part of the whole thing is, despite how adamant people are about this BS, alpha behavior in humans probably happens for similar reasons; fear and insecurity. We're genetically closer to, and setup even more comfortably than, bonobos while we pretend we're more like chimps who developed and live in a hostile environment that breeds and requires that aggressive behavior because they're small and tasty. At best, the 'alpha' is a response to a cause (re: prison/captive wolves), not a behavior that occurs regardless. Its romanticized garbage and if that's your fetish, cool, but that's all it is. Stop pretending it has any place outside of your dreams of being the most bottomy bottom or the most toppy top and is anything more than being Pepsi to BDSM's Coke.
The last clip made me stop everything I was doing and nearly brought tears to my eyes- there’s no better feeling than making someone you care about experience so much joy.

Good on that bride being the anti-bridezilla. She literally took time out of her wedding to help out on a surprise marriage proposal. I hope the two had already talk about marriage as it's not cool to put someone on the spot like that in public though.
Ah i was thinking of a similar thing about this as i recently read a story on AITA about a similar thing but as a viewer to the wedding and my main thing is: if it is ok'd by the bride and groom and you possible fiance doesnt mind a public thing then go ahead. But again thats my thoughts
it's not being a bridezilla to not want other people proposing at your wedding, especially without even being asked. it's clear that the bride and her partner okayed it in this case, but I've heard of so many stories of people who felt that their special day was ruined by someone else trying to take the spotlight - the same goes for announcing a pregnancy at someone else's baby shower.
A a very public proposal during a rather emotional event is an awful idea. All you're doing is pressuring your partner to say yes. It's like proposing in front of a crowd. Proposing during someone else's wedding isn't just hurtful, it's downright disrespectful to the person you want to be with.
@@themindfulmoron3790 I completely agree, but I'm hoping that the person in the video has asked their partner if they'd be comfortable with being proposed to publically

10:43 The only thing she got right was the "cheating isn't just f*cking" part. She needs help if she thinks that is how a healthy relationship is meant to work
Yeah I agree with that. Like if you fall in love with someone else and neglect your current partner, it's still cheating, even without the sex. But unfortunately she didn't mean it like that.
10:30 I once got into a relationship with someone before discussing those types of boundaries and it resulted in a lot of fights. I’m basically the extreme opposite of those people who consider eye contact cheating. I only consider it cheating if my partner did anything without us discussing it or if they lie to me about it. She considered a lot of little things cheating. We ended up splitting because of various large issues, but those issues probably could be traced back to us not discussing those boundaries. They’re very important.
Oh yeah. ALWAYS discuss boundaries when starting any kind of long term interactions with people. Romantic relationships, physical relationships, roommates and carpool buddies, etc. It's not just adult fun time and chores that need boundaries.
I agree, but I also think you don't need to have sex/kiss for it to be cheating. Your partner is your whole world and your best friend in an ideal scenario so the part before where they become emotionally intimate with someone else behind your back is also kinda shitty. Although I see why it's a grayer line than the physical act and can be approached accidentally sometimes, at one point if you are approaching a point where kissing/having sex with someone who isnt your partner isnt totally weird you know exactly what you are doing before you even get to it? meh long story short didnt wanna be a psycho gf, didnt say anything about a friendship that made me uncomfortable, you can guess how that went for me lol

So many times I see toxicity and abuse in relationships as normalized and even kinks like pain stuff is normal and it makes me uncomfortable like I absolutely hate pain in all senses so when its normalized and kind of expected it just seems wrong to me.
Love the bouquet-proposal because it's also such a lovely move on the part of the bride and groom. Obviously its planned and they're happy to share the celebration with their friends rather than snotty about being upstaged on "their day".
It's unfair to associate every straight person with this. It's not that these people are straight, it's that they're bigots and/or deeply insecure, ill informed, and judgmental in a manner that's directly proportional to how vocal they are.

Check a potential partner’s hands. Training with a sword leaves distinct callouses, if they don’t have these they won’t be much help on your quest to slay the dragon. Then again if they have burns or runes on their hands, they are likely a mage, so will make a good partner for your quest.

What? you don't want to be the origin of satan's sacrificial waterfall?
If they're a transmasc who hates themself, then they're soaking in the blood of their enemies
about the "straight people joking about hating their partner infront of queer people thing" - yes.
I joke about being homophobic to my gay friends

18:15 THIS is how you propose at someone’s wedding. The couple were clearly okay with it since the bride gave the woman her bouquet. Very cute.
indeed 100% respect that she shared her special day to make another just as happy :)
Honestly, as long as the bride and groom know and allow it, in my book it's okay 😌

It’s a myth to alienate animals from humans. Ironically, there’s people who think they’re alpha but would surrender when they’re in genuine danger.
This natural order"
The funniest part of the whole thing is, despite how adamant people are about this BS, alpha behavior in humans probably happens for similar reasons; fear and insecurity.

Good on that bride being the anti-bridezilla. She literally took time out of her wedding to help out on a surprise marriage proposal. I hope the two had already talk about marriage as it's not cool to put someone on the spot like that in public though.
For sure
