Today we're back on Angel Shores, and we're going to be having a look at the brand new IVECO Bus Pack DLC which is available for the price of £7.49 on the Steam Store.
So what does it contain?
This pack contains 3 buses. They are:
IVECO Crealis 18
IVECO Crossway LE
IVECO E-Way
The buses look absolutely stunning and I really cannot wait to dive in! But are looks alone going to carry this DLC?

Great video as always Joe and you are right the DLC is shocking but i did like the Harry Potter part of the video ha ha, I will stay playing The Bus and Fernbus

I get really fed up of games companies calling things a simulator when they aren't. Bus sim 21 is a game. TSW 2 is a game. Can't help but think it's partly down to money, investors putting pressure on them to get stuff out by a deadline. Remember CD Rom? When they had to finish games before they sold them? Now we are the Beta testers but pay through the nose for the privilege......that was a rant sorry.....😆 Nice one Joe!

When i saw you with Bus Sim 21 i said i would buy it because of the experience i had with 18 but i got it and was suprised to see that the game is just 18 warmed up and spat out as 21, In my opinion Astragon should change name to Astracon because as Joe said they should have fixed the game then release DLC's, but they decided to go down the "let's fleece the fools" route, I agree that the bus is a whole lot better(go back to Joe's first video's in this series i commented then) and OMSI 2 is a good game but the frame rates are something i couldn't live with plus all maps are chargable, In short out of the three i would go 1.The Bus 2.OMSI 2 3.either this pile of pixels or watching TV, Thanks for the video Joe..
I sort of disagree with the bus being a whole lot better. Alot of the stock buses lack even basic features that you expect to be implemented across all buses in the game. The DLC, while being more polished, it's still recycling assets from the base game in places it ain't supposed to. The interior model, is still typical bus simulator franchise quality, not impressed at all. The driving experience is terrible with so many bugs that completely ruin the gameplay experience. The game itself is at most an early beta release at best!
My personal best speed was with the volvo 7900e at 70mph (even though it can definitely go faster)
If you don't like the Seas you can always change them you can also change the colour if you need to that's what I'm going to do when I get home I hope you're enjoying the new boss pack
Joe Dobson: I don't see the problem with the iveco E way or the Cealis 18. I think they're superb. Because of the cheap price and maintenance, I'll be having a small fleet of the Cealis 18
I seem to be the only one absolutely in love with the modern look of the electric busses.

The e way looks like a citroen from the 90s with covered rear wheels 🤣
The front of the crealis 18 looks similar to a switch/optare versa in my opinion. Probably the best electric articulated bus in the game as it has low in game credits cost and low maintenance cost. That is bargain money like the man lions city 18 diesel bus

I got the wheel bug, really irritating and some times it happens randomly when you drive. Unplug and replug seems the only way to sort it, when you load it it sets the wheel full right. You dont need to unplug you go into settings and wheel them press reset sorts it rather than a unplug and plug but the usb is next to my chair in a hub so its quicker but you can just reset via settings.

If you want a bit of fun Joe grab My Truck Game from Steam just over a fiver and physics personified (Beam NG esk) early access but damn fun and it has 2 buses in it too :) I wrote this whilst watching the video and OMG the people falling from the bridge was "A bridge too far" Word of Note Once Sim rail 2021 has released the team will then be able to get back to Sim Bus 2021 (but by the time it releases it will be probably 2023/2024 but is shows promise and who cant have enough different bus simulators eh ?
But The Bus only has a few fixed routes , the graphic requirements is also too high. Provided that Astragon said it would fix engine sounds of e citaro for now, it is possible that it will fix the engine sounds of other buses.

Hello Joe and All, I am a member of the Bus Simulator 21 Discord. Astragon as explained on there how they obtain the soundset for the buses in the game and they have explained that they ask the bus manufacturer for permission to record the real bus or Astragon will ask a bus operator who as the bus in there fleet and available to record. Covid maybe still a reason that they can't record the real bus has the bus manufacturer or operator may not be allowing visitors on to there premises or depots or they don't reply within time. Astragon as also stated that game will be updated and bugs fixed.
I think the problem Astragon have is that they’re leaving it a little late in the day... the hype surrounding Bus Simulator 21 is dying, and that’s no secret, because over 6 months since it’s release it’s still buggy to the point it’s not enjoyable to play.
If they leave it much longer for these bugs to be fixed there’ll be nobody left playing it to notice 🤣
I'm especially pissed about the Crossway LE. My city uses these for all regional routes - and I'll tell you, this is NOT how it sounds. Driving it is just a disappointment.
I wrote to them asking if they intend to fix the sound, since we all know this isn't how it's supposed to sound - I'm going to be guessing no answer.
Edit: At this rate, I wouldn't even want them to include Solaris. Not until the sound sourcing is on point. I guess... Modding is the answer. Sadly.
I’m guessing they probably contacted Solaris, as they’re one of the most popular bus manufacturers in Europe! Maybe the owner of Solaris played Bus Simulator 18 and said “Absolutely NOT!” (Or the polish equivalent!)
@@JoeDobsongaming Yeah, albeit they on the forums state that they haven't attempted getting them into the fold. I doubt that is true - after BS 18, I can even understand why they would deny their buses entry into the game.
BS 21 is a step up - but it's sadly only one step up, on a maybe 20-step staircase. So much fixing is needed, as you said in the video.

To be fair to DTG, I know I slander them, but the vast majority of their routes are absolutely flawless! So we certainly wouldn’t have half the map problems such as flying pedestrians if they did make a bus simulator...

The pedestrians falling through the bridge bug is STILL in the game? This really is a let down how have they not fixed that yet? and then they have the cheek to make a paid DLC with no custom bus sounds while those bugs are still there. They are really doing a bad job with this, don't think I will ever buy one of their bus "simulators" again.
Yep :( it’s still a thing! The thing is, it never used to be a thing in bus simulator 21, it only came about a few months in after they’d fixed some of the other bugs 😭
@@JoeDobsongaming Pretty close to launch I saw the exact same thing happen in Jeff Favignano's video, it seems BS21 is just a buggy glitchy mess that won't be properly fixed any time soon

@@jamesdukes1869 yeah there is the enviro 500 but the problems when AI drive and keep crashing going round corners, I’m hoping they release another double decker.
Why it won't let you use the air conditioner in the heat in the bus have passengers complained as too cold on the bus so you can control the heat or air conditioning need to make it more realistic
I paid $80 for this game on series s, bloody cheeky that they're charging for dlc's at this point.

This is like the bus using their scania coach sounds with the citywide. Pretty bad using bus sim 18 sounds for a DLC on the Crossway! There's better sounding crosseays on steam workshop for 18 with different sounds completely

As someone who loves Iveco Crossway, this is immensely disappointing.
Iveco Crossway comes often with Tector 7 or my favorite engine, FPT Cursor 9

I already own BS18 and was really looking forward to BS21 as I expected new vehicles and new sounds.
The vehicles look pretty good, the sounds are as bad as they were.

Why is the logic of peds or cars terrible in this game?
Honestly I’m a little disappointed with bus sim 21, most of the buses sound the same engine & all. The e-citaro’s got an updated sound pack but all the other buses sound awful to me compared to the older version.
This is clearly not a Simulator, as neither are American Truck or Euro truck "simulator" 2, is that people like to believe that they are simulators, and stay more in the arcade, so do not delve into details more to improve physics in the behavior of vehicles, the game is full of bugs, but it is what it is, there are no more brave in the market to generate competition, and they do not care about the quality with which they sell the "final" product. I saw your review in Steam, thanks for the video.
Dear Joe, See and feel, how much you loved the new buses. But did they add anything else to this package? And thanks for the video, and see that they have not yet settled the matter of the people jumping off the bridge.😁
The package was just these three buses :) Unfortunately no they haven't fixed the bugs yet :( Oh well! Hopefully they will soon :D
@@JoeDobsongaming Thanks joe, I bought the dlc, and finished the new map, just a pity they really do not invest in fixing the bugs that the game has, at first I thought you should not let them earn, but maybe it's worth it at least they will do something, next time a new dlc comes out, I will think twice.😮💨

People yell at me if I don’t play the game 😆 I’ve done at least 1 video a week since it came out and took one week off last week to do other things, and they were round my house with burning torches and pitch forks 😆

I think it all depends what you play the game for. If it’s for the storyline and the missions then absolutely, as for essentially £2.50 each you get another 3 buses to play with. If you’re playing it because you want to simulate what driving a bus would be like, absolutely NOT! I’d recommend downloading this pack for OMSI for more realism
