*Who loves Paolo’s new apartment?🙋🏻♀️😊* It looks so lovely and I love the decor! This will be a perfect place for you two to start your family 🥰
Yeah also hes forgoting about hes son if they had a new birth also hes son has no bedroom.....
Congrats Paolo! You've given everyone such an interesting perspective on a very intriguing culture. Your hard work has paid off and I wish you and your family nothing but the best! Never stop smiling ^_^
that they added Maiko to the Playbutton is a small but important little detail which shows that they really put in some thought.
"We have an in-built oven"
Normal people: ok
People who have watched over 200 Japan vlogs: HOLY SH*T, AN OVEN?!
Not really. Myb in western countries like the us it is normal but i'm from asia and a built-in oven is not a normal thing.
melzer 13 That’s what they are getting at in the original post. That’s the literal joke. People who watch j-vlogs on the regular know that ovens aren’t the norm in most Asian countries. Hence the reference to other people who don’t watch j-vlogs not seeing a built-in oven as unusual. Hope that helped.
I don't know why but you're one of the UA-camrs that I'm genuinely happy to see move into a larger home. Maybe because through your vlogs and videos I can see the sincere hard work you've put into your channel and I love the content you provide for your viewers. Also I just remember how cramped your old studio was and now with a baby coming, I'm just so happy for you guys!! Congrats!
"I just had to agree to whatever she wanted" Yep that sounds about right.
@Honey Wtf does the UA-cam channel and their apartment have in common?
That is public, this is private.
I love that Maiko's name is also included in the golden play button thingy :D
What a SIMP lol, she didn't do shit (unless she coordinates all the behind the scene stuff)
@@aakksshhaayy what was the point of your comment? It was so uncalled for, ofcourse she works behind the scenes thats why he kept saying "we" work at home. And looking at all the computers and stuff its quite obvious
@@emiliaclare8830 Just tell me if you'd think it'd be alright, if I could just crash here tonight
@@aakksshhaayy Yo ofc she works behind the scenes, why else would her name be there?
Paolo and Maiko’s home are reflective of their character and videos - creative, organized, crisp, and clean!
Paolo! THAT CABLE MANAGEMENT 👏👏👏
That's a giant apartment compared to other Japanese apartments, especially in Tokyo.
@@alwalidmubaydin2547 My guess, depending on the location, it costs 170,000 ~ 240,000 JPY, which is about 1700USD ~ 2400USD.
@@joatanpereira4272 Incorrect. TOO many people think this, and it's so wrong.
@@CCL4BELTTF Not even.
Yes, it does depends on where exactly in Tokyo, but there's plenty of 2, or even 3 bedroom places a little further out from Tokyo central for 700-1000
I'd imagine your current TV position would be the ideal location anyway - to avoid glare from the windows.
well yes and no. no reflection from the windows, but have you tried watching tv against the light? so what you will have to do is to darken the room every single time you want to watch a film.
@@onemonkeys and that can be a double edged sword. It might force you to only watch tv when making it an event either alone or with someone, or the blinds stay down all the time.
I guess they are more likely to watch tv during the evening or maybe early in the morning where it is not that bright yet and the curtains might be closed than anyway. I guess during the day they work on projects, filming etc. ;) Also if they want to watch during the day they could just close some of the curtains but who watches during the day much anyway
That’s amazing that they added Maiko’s name to the play button!! 🥰 Such a sweet touch
I enjoy the "day in the life of..." I am a ex South African Fireman. I would love to see the day in the life of a Japanese fireman.
"So what are you doing"
"I'm a Japanese fire spirit, hungrily devouring this home."
hes living my dream- work at home, has a beautiful apartment, and lives with his soulmate.
Successful youtube channel, 1mil subscribers, travels around the world... this is the life I dream of but will never be able to have myself. :(
@@Kronos0999 im not naive im just telling facts , of course chances are low but still there is a small chance of success , if he has a dream he should folow it , people like you dont go anywhere

The molding for the wiring is genius! I never thought of that...
I gotta say, with everything going on in the world and in the United States right now- pandemic, protests, political strife, I really needed a happy video like this. You and Maiko work so hard- congratulations on your new home to raise your baby!
I truly like Paolo, he seems like such a nice guy. Congrats on you new home, it's great.
I love how you hid the wire for the purifier! I definitely wanna try this!
I am so happy for you! My boyfriend and I started watching your channel to prep for a trip to Japan that would have happened May 1-17. It didn’t happen due to covid restrictions but I still am glad to check in on you and one day when we get to Japan we will owe you a ton for all of the great travel and food videos. Thank u Paolo & Mika :)
This is a great upgrade, Paolo. Love the new spot, especially all the windows. Especially like how you hid the cables in the livingroom -- I hate cables too so I can appreciate someone taking that extra step to hide them and have a clean looking set-up.
I love these videos. What makes them so authentic is that the video and audio are not matching up,so it feels like I'm watching one of those Asian movies from back in the day.
Congrats Paolo and to your family! Your apartment looks really cool and well organized. For sure you can still made some home improvements in the future but for the mean time, just enjoy and savor the layout of your new apartment.
She did amazing on the decorating! The whole apartment looks awesome!
I love how open the apartment is, tight lots of walls makes me reallg anxious and the way you styled the apartment is so beautiful
Nice tour. That one million play button looks awesome! Perfect spot for it
Now I am glad that Maiko was picky while choosing an apartment.
You guys chose a great apartment 😊❤
Sweet apt setup! I love turning one room into several "rooms" like you have. My apt is one big room with a small separate kitchen and also small separate bath. I learned quickly that I had to divide it into many sections and make it feel like multiple rooms in one room. I feel like we both did a good job! Great video!
I might be late to commenting on this video, but I enjoy all your content that you post thank you, it’s awesome to learn about another culture, and learning about your life in your country.
It's perfect 😉 I wish you both (and soon to be three of you!) much happiness and success in your new home 🍾
the kitchen facing the living room area is soooooo gooooood. i love the new apartment
You deserve that golden play button for sure because ur content is amazing and very interesting, keep doing what you're doing.
Looks very nice, a huge upgrade for you both and I´m sure hugely appreciated. Enjoy!!!!
Wow your new apartment is great and I am very happy for you. Me and my Mom have been watching your for a year and a half and you are so inspirational!!!!! I am also pinoy🇵🇭🇵🇭
Shoot, I'm from the West, and that place is huge for Tokyo! Congrats and putting out some vibes into the universe for your continued happiness! Oh and i know this is an older video to comment on but I would love to see "Day in the Life" of Japanese who are from rural areas i.e. farmers, fisherman, etc.
This is a great video. Thank you so much for sharing all of this with us. I wish you the best, you and your family! Take care!
Congratulations!!! Apartment is beautiful, I love the layout of the living/ dining area.
YES!!!! I've been binge-watching apartment tour videos for the last few days and hoping for your home update AND IT'S HERE!!!!
Greetings from the Philippines! Congratulations Paolo and Maiko! On the baby and the new home! I really like how you have wheels on your whole filming studio! That's just genius! And how you hide wires and cables around your house!! God bless you and your family! Looking forward to seeing more and more videos of you guys on Tokyo Zebra and on this channel :)
Nice. Good idea keeping it simple and less cluttered. That makes if feel roomier. Everything is so new and clean looking; nice way to start off in a new home.
Congratulations to the both of you on your new apartment. Both you a Maika’s hard work has paid off. Love the apartment layout and all your videos. Look forward to your futures vlogs
your apartment is so nice!! i like the zebra carpet with the pink chair! i'm so happy for you two and excited for your baby! 💕
i'm always rewatching your japan videos cause they're always so entertaining, thank you for inspiring me to start posting my japan vlogs!!
Hey there! I just stumbled on to your channel, and I must say, that after having some doubts about living in Japan (which is all in planning, learning stages), I feel all the more inspired because of your awesome home. Thanks for showing us and congrats on your many milestones!
Amazing place! Great pick and great job, Maiko, on the interior design! And great job on hiding the wires! Your place is so inspirational ✨
The small things make me happy as well my friend. Your home is beautiful thank you for sharing with us!!
The living and dining area amazing! Love how they turned out
Love the setup! You’ve both taken care of your areas very beautifully. I’d be interested in seeing more on your appliances. Japan does smaller appliances best and I’d like to see more of the inside and what works and what doesn’t (e.g. The washer and drier all in one - how well does it dry? does it vent outdoors?). I own my own 1920s home but the living space is relatively small- 880 sq ft - and I wish we had more and better choices for appliances that used the space more effectively than what is available in NA. I am surprised that more Murphy bed setups aren’t used over there and you may want to consider adding high cabinets for storage as your ceilings seem quite high. I don’t know if you are allowed to anchor them into the concrete but - if not - those Swedes usually have some interesting stuff ... (IKEA). Take care and stay safe. I am Looking forward to the man/cave room setup video on the other channel. Btw what video editing software do you use on your Mac?
This is a beautiful apartment! Maiko and you did a great job together! And that cable solution gets big points!
You have a really great flat! It’s suuuuper rare to see the open concept of the kitchen, dining, and living flowing into each other. Usually I’m okay having the kitchen separate (odour control). But hearing your thoughts about watching over your baby, it did make sense. Thank you for allowing us into your personal space 🧡
Lovely home. Thank you for sharing. Love it when you said "I just had to agree to everything she wanted". Lol. True love ❤️
I live in the US and your apartment looks amazing! I can't wait to move out and a place that is at least half as good as yours!
Cobgrats you guys😍 Such a beautiful apartment I love it and I wish I have my own home either. It doesn't matter if your home small or large, it is important to have warm environment with lovely ones, soulmate and kids💖
It looks great! Decent for tokyo id say cause most spaces/apts are smaller. New home new life!! Enjoy it you guys deserve it!
What a beautiful home, i love seeing the Japanese apartments and lifestyle. So intriguing! :)
Your new space looks so comfy and homey! I love it - such goals :)
This is so amazing. I am in love with your apartment. I like small homes but they should be well maintained and obviously clutter-free.
Paolo you and Maiko have a beautiful place congrats cannot wait for the baby to come
I love the furnitures. I hope Maiko can share details where she got those from. Can’t wait to see the baby. Congratulations 🥳
wow this new apartment so cool and lovely. Congrats Paolo and Maiko!
Don't sell yourself short your place looks amazing!and downsizing is going to be the way of the future so consider yourself ahead of the curve. I love the way that you've cleaned everything up and you've given me some ideas to help me with my space, so thank you!
After watching all your videos looking for an apartment before the baby, I’m glad y’all found such a nice place!! CONGRATS TO YOU ALL
Lovely apartment! More space, brighter and nice decorations
Love the new place, so much more room. I'm sure you'll make good use of it , and find it more home-like.
Thanks! Definitely feels more like a home than the previous apartment.
Congratulations to both of you for the new member of the family, and your new place.
I love your new apartment and how you have made everything.Congrats with the new apartmenr.Nay you have lots of fun and plessure there.

Love this video . Love the minimal set up and stylish furniture.
Awesome apartment! Loved every bit. The LDK space looks fantastic. Love what you did with the place.
Love from Toronto, your videos are always inspiring:) definitely make me wanna visit Tokyo someday.
Always love your content, waiting Japan to lift up state of emergency and travel ban so I can go to japan again and try your reccomendation. Hope you and Maiko are doing well and the baby too
Cheers from Indonesia 😁
I love how the studio looks! Nothing feels better than being happy with a space you designed yourself!
Hi. I live in the U.S. all the way in Memphis Tennessee. I’m here from your other channel, Tokyo Zebra. I started watching Kimono Mom from watching your video about a day in the life of a Japanese mom. I absolutely love her! So thanks for the introduction. I have been enjoying the videos about your life with your new baby. He’s so adorable 🥰 I love your new apartment. It’s very minimalist, yet cozy. You guys did a great job!😃
I like how you hide the cords. I myself don’t like seeing cords all over the place.
Dang dude, living the dream. That apartment looks nice!
Congratulation! the new place will create further amazing videos. I can't wait to see that your baby becomes a new member joining your journey.
I love your new home. Very simple and practical for such a small space. No clutter!!
oh my gosh I was just wondering yesterday when this’d be uploaded
It would've been also nice to add the floor plan 😁 I got curious on how the entire 2ldk apartment is shaped. Awesome looking open kitchen
The apartment looks awesome.
You're so organized particularly your mini studio. I loved how your new apartment looks.
Congrats!
I am happy for you, Maiko, and your baby. Stay safe and happy!
Love that it says “Paolo from TOKYO & Maiko”
Your apartment is actually awesome dude, I like how neat and tidy it is
Awesome yes but, neat & tidy "for now" .... wait for the baby to become a toddler lol
Congrats on the new apartment and on the new addition to your family! ❤️
Maiko did a great job setting up the interiors, I loved your workstation.
I love how tidy it looks, it's a beautiful home! Congrats! And a little advice, for security, it's not safe to put the baby crib next to a window.
I just found your channel and I like it. I'm a new subscriber 😉
Yes... the baby can over heat if the sun is shining through or be cold if the window is open.
Maybe a nicer idea to put the bed under the window and the baby on the other side.
Love the setting in the living room area. It looks cosy and spacious.
Oh wow! I will be using this video as a reference when I begin my vlogging setup! Definitely one of my favourite non-food related videos on your channel. Congratulations!
When we gonna get a full sneaker collection tour, Paolo always got some fire shoes
Really love the new place. You might have to get a bigger place eventually so your baby will have a room too.
It’s very common in Japan for small children to share their parent’s room, even bed for many years
@@bettyleeable Pretty sure they won't have to worry about a separate room for the baby for at least 5-8 years... Maybe after that, they might have to give the baby a new room.
@@bettyleeable I didn't know it was that much more expensive than in the US. So, Yes, I can see kids sharing rooms with their parents for a long time. Thanks much for the information, bettyleeable. 😁
Very nice to see your beautiful home family space. Thanking God for your family and positive outlook
Awesome and Amazing Paolo. Congrats on all your success. Cant wait to see more
Hi Paolo, my first time adding a comment. Thanks so much for all your great efforts in putting all of this together, specially your new apartment. Congrats on the new baby hope we can all have a chance to see more of all of you as a beautiful family you already are. These UA-cam videos make me want to move there in Japan. We are a family of four, Julie my Korean bride, to boys Noah 13 and his brother Aaron 8.
wow, and another 2 million subscribers in these last two years. way to go

I think the new apartment is wonderful and i love what you've done with the set up and the smart little add ons you've done to make it work for yous

Beautiful!! I live in America and 700sq ft apartments are fairly common. Not too small at all. You made great use of the space. Congrats on the new space :)
