You’re the first I’ve seen talk about using a spreader. I had to use a pry bar and hammer the end of the handle like a chisel. I did it out of frustration 😁 I was so happy when I seen that little piece move. I tried using a D clamp with a socket, prying it to move. my last resort would’ve been cutting that piece off. I’ve got a 06 odyssey.
