I assume you mean Numan's Les Paul. I recently pointed out to a friend that it's the same one he has always had. That white Stratocaster on the other hand used to belong to Allan Holdsworth, so it has as well.
I was really hoping that Numan had written a song called "I Can't Stop Wogan". The chorus I imagined would have gone; "I can stop drinking, yeah, and I can stop smoking, right, but IIII just can't stop Wogaaaan!"
I thought that was Gary's brother John; Had Cedric passed or too ill to play at the time? God rest his soul, he was amazing but John was great & did Cedric proud RIP CEDRIC ❤xxx
Tracey Ackerman actually performs the backing vocals,Tracy mimed to it.Tracey Adams was Gary’s girlfriend at the time, and had been part of the production of Gary’s flying documentary , Radial Pair.
Gary met Tracy, when she produced his documentary, about his flying planes, Radial Pair, that’s Gary in the plane in the video to this song, and Tracy is sat on the bonnet of his Corvette as he flys over head.
i cant stop followed the top 30 single this is love into the singles chart, whilst that song reached number 28, i cant stop stalled at 27. totps played the song, it was heavily promoted but radio 1 just wouldn't touch it resulting in a day of protest from fans. Numan speculated at the time that he guessed he had upset someone in high places. With airplay the track would have likely gone top 20 but it is an annoying track. Not a song he's ever gonna perform again.
@@charleskennedy1712 I could have sworn Cedric did the Exhibition tour. Gad my memories getting poor I went to see Gary and naturally assumed Ced was drumming as per.
Gary's brother John (Donovan) is on drums here and I think it's the only time I can recall that he looked good, I heard his actually a very good drummer, Gary should have kept him as a drummer.
@@outpost31737 Well now your right and wrong. John Did mime to Dick Morrisey's Sax on Gary's tours but then no other Sax player could play like that live anyway. John Webb's Gary's adopted brother (AKA Donovan silvers music is pure shite but I have heard him play drums live and his not bad at all on drums and keyboard's actually. He also made a rather great career out of flying including being a commercial pilot and a Pilot trainer but now he is retired.
@@lauraarcher1730 That was the style then and that was what Gary wanted, no one does anything in a song or video that Gary doesn't want.(His a perfectionist and control freak)
I always loved this song. Great song and female vocal.
Tessa Niles is singing the female vocals,Tracy was his girlfriend at the time, and was behind Gary’s Radial Pair production.
That guitar has witnessed great days (and still does!). 🔥

Those mullets overpowered the song.
I had to beg my parents to let me stay up and watch this 🤣🤣🤣🖤🖤🖤
Wogan used to go out at 7pm🤷♂️
something about this i really like
Great song, but who else was intrigued at first when reading the title that the great man had made a song called ` I cant stop Wogan `?
😂👍
ULTRAVOX! And a touch of SAD CAFE!

Great track! his brother on drums btw

John did a good job but........ WHERE'S CEDRIC?
He was missing for a while. Didn’t do the Exhibition 87 tour either

What a load of nonsense. John mimed to Dick Morriseys studio tracks and he couldn't play the drums well either.

" I Can't Stop". I wish he would.
The beginning of Numan's rapid decline.
Eh, he went through a rough patch in the late 80s and early 90s, but he bounced back and he’s as good as ever now.
I wouldn’t say decline, true his later stuff, isn’t to every Numan fans taste, but, shows how creative an artist he is, re inventing himself.
And how about now!!! Awesome
His worst. 😂
The girl ruined the song. She seems so violent 😂.
Probably too much coffee!🤪

This crap was so bad but I’ll take this over the 20 years of Numan being a NIN wannabe. 🤮🤮🤮
Agree, this era sounds terribly dated but still manages a strange charm
