Thankyou for the information, it is not clear if the goggles run over telementri or only over HDMI cable, We have the Pantom4 Pr Plus V2, with cable is the goggle usless.

The goggles should work wirelessly with any OcuSync aircraft (Mavic Pro, Mavic 2, P4PV2). With the P4P+V2, you should be able to connect the goggles and the controller to the AC at the same time. For other aircraft, like the Mavic Air, you must connect the goggles to the controller via USB for them to work.

Glad to help! Since the functionality wasn't available for the non-RE Goggles at launch, I think a bunch of people just forgot that it was promised :-) However, I'm glad that the recent update allowed them to work! It's great for framing a shot in bright light if you don't have a hood or a Crystal Sky.

With the latest firmware, the Goggles do not have to be connected to the controller to work with the P4P V2. They should connect over OcuSync and head tracking should work!

The goggles connect to aircraft in one of three ways:
      1. Wirelessly via OcuSync to equipped aircraft (Mavic Pro, Mavic 2 & P4PV2)
      2. Through controller via USB cable (Spark, Mavic Air, P4) *It should be noted that you cannot connect a device (cellphone/tablet) and the goggles to the controller at the same time.*
      3. Through the micro HDMI port on the goggles (Inspire 1, any drone with HDMI Out in the controller)
The functionality will differ depending on the connection method but head tracking is available on all of the aircraft listed in option 1 above and some of those in option 2. If you have questions about a specific aircraft, let us know!

Can anyone help me? I have P4PV2 and have updated the latest version of the firmware of the aircraft. I have also downgraded the DJI goggle Racing Edition to 1.00.04 . I am trying to do quick linking and have gone through this video many times but it ALWAYS times out after 60 seconds without linking.

Hey Nima, this video is about the standard goggles (not the RE) but the process should remain the same. I know there was a firmware bug after the release of the MP2 that caused some connectivity issues with the goggles and the P4PV2, I'm not sure if it affected the RE goggles as well. Are you still having trouble on the latest firmware?

I would like to know if I have to update my drone to the same version of the visor dji googgles ?

They don't have to be the same version but you do want them to be on the latest firmware. (NOTE: We have had some connectivity issues with the latest goggle firmware. If you have trouble, use DJI Assistant to rollback your goggle FW to 01.04.0400.)

Doesn't work for me. I've gone though that video very slowly and carefully and followed the instructions to the letter, But, with many attempts, it ALWAYS times out after 60 seconds without linking. Any suggestions what I'm doing wrong?

Have you confirmed that your P4Pv2 and goggles are both on the latest firmware?

      DroneAcademy.com
As I said - went though that video very carefully and checking the firmware was the first thing I did.
      To confirm
      V01.00.1500 for aircraft,
      V01.00.01.00 for the remote controller,
      V01.04.0500 for goggles

I've now discovered "what I was doing wrong" and it wasn't my problem, it's an error in the video. 35 seconds in we are told to ensure the goggle firmware is V01.04.0400 "or higher". Well, my goggles have the most up-to-date firmware V01.04.0500 which is consistent with what the video tells us - but in my experience with that firmware the goggles WILL NOT LINK. However, downgrading to the V01.04.0400 firmware the goggles WILL LINK.
I hope that anyone trying to connect the Phantom 4 Pro + V2.0 to the goggles reads this comment - rather than spend hours beating their head against a brick wall like I did!

Hey there...we've been testing this for a couple of days and have found the same thing. It looks like the newest firmware (meant to bring Mavic 2 compatibility) has broken P4Pv2 connectivity for many users. We've updated the video description to reflect the issue and the solution. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, sorry you had to figure it out the hard way!
