How national manifesto from XIX century could be proof that you are descendants of ancient Macedonians? This is not substantive argument. Members of modern nations emerging in XIX century had different ideas about who were their ancestors. That doesn't mean their statements were right and historically accurate.
I n the medieval times in vilages there was one place like water spring when all the beutifull girls getter to take water in ground poteri made special for water one of the beutifull girls was named Stamena simbol of Macedonian beauty and clearity she caried the water for her Sick mother to help her mother to get better

I am a proud Greek-Macedonian but I do think this song and music of the region is native to the land and in my genes like most Northern Greek music. It's so good! Bravo.

My ancestors are all from Pelagonia and some have a darker, short statured, more Mediterranean complexion whilst others are more so Blonde haired, blue eyed, tall/broad statured, looking Slavic but even almost Germanic in appearance. I always held the theory that we were a people Slavic and Mediterranean combined
