Mine stalled today while driving 50mph out of nowhere. I put it in neutral and started it right back up and put it back in drive while still going 40mph. Its not as bad as this car. And my oil is always fresh fresh.
I have 2013 Elantra, am experiencing the same faults, the engine went off while you are driving, I have changed the engine oil and transmission oil and plugs everything changed but still engine goes off. any help
Just make sure you change your oil on time, and most importantly check the level between oil changes! I'm pretty sure this has a different engine "a much better one.
having this exact issue currently. It seems to stall whenever I'm going to turn, I have a 2018 hyuandi elentra se with 86, 000 miles on it. first time it stalled I didn't know what was wrong with it so I had a nice guy jump it. my brother in law came cause we thought it might be the alternator but he had both the battery and alternator checked and both were fine. 2 weeks later I'm driving and it stalled again while I was turning. So did more research and thought it might be the crank shaft sensor so I replaced that. Then 2 weeks later (a few days ago) it stalled again while I was in traffic. This time I stopped put my hazards on turned it off for a few minutes and turned it back on and it started no issue and drove me home. I'm just wondering what is wrong with it. I've gotten an oil change, replaced the crank shaft sensor, and ran all the battery and alternator and all are fine. anyone have any idea what is causing these stalling issues? I see a lot of comments saying it's happend to them but if anyone has a solution please share cause I'm in no place to get a new car right now and am very anxious to drive the one I have. thanks
I'm having this exact issue, damn near same car (2017 Elantra; I don't have push-button though). I'm 2,000mi out from needing a change, though. I'll be heading to an oil place ASAP after work.
Try using sandpaper on the battery and terminals first. There super sensitive to corrosion and will stall out if there is any present. Worth a try fixed mines
@@nathanmccumber8965 get some sand paper and sand the battery terminals and connectors this fixed mined after I changed the oil and filter and fuel pump and crankshaft position sensor all for nothing.
I had the same issue with my ELANTRA. It was about a quarter and a half to 2 quarts low on oil between oil changes, and it would stall at low speed until I figured out what the problem was. Added more oil, the problem went away.
I brought to a mechanic and he believed this was the issue, so topped my oil off but 10m driving down the road it stalled again and hasn't stared back up again..
How are you going to get that piece of the dipstick out of motor? That’s right you were going to change oil. My sister Elantra has the same problem. Her oil pressure sensor was her problem
Most of the time it's low oil. 100,000 miles change the spark plugs and the wires. And in my 2018 Hyundai Elantra I add a quart of oil once a month between oil changes.

If its going off while driving, tighten the battery heads

I bought a Hyundai and it changed my life. I met a beautiful woman who is kind to me, and now I can read Korean too! No other car can do that.

Put some Restore and Protect, Valvoline oil in it for 4k miles. Repeat twice. Hopefully will clean out.

This car never made it out of the back parking lot???
O noo the dip stick 😂🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Need new engine because u dropped half of the dip stick in inside the oil pan as clogged oil 😂😅 really super glue 😂
Looks like the dipstick wanted to take a dip in the oil pan! Time for a new engine adventure.

Omg dont put glue on the dipstick. They break you replace it. Omfg. He had oil in the car and you just destroyed his motor
😂😂😂
Definitely a dumb move
151k and you call it garbage? Chevrolet engines go out all the time around 60k. Fords just as bad 😂

Nice vid.....lol. Sell them Lexus
I wonder if he informed the owner that there's plastic pieces floating around inside your engine now? lol
Easy fix, drain engine oil and remove the drain pan
