You absolutely crush these lessons.. still working on getting pride and joy,, that's a song that a million guitarists can play badly, just not sounding right but you point out all the little nuances that makes it sound like it's supposed to..thank you
That tune is so groovy with the whole band playing it! I like mixing up throwing in low a with long chord and cutting off that first a in riff to make fit, hard to put in words but have to play around with it. But longer chord goes into the first a of riff so you play the g note part in the riff so you end up with the low a in kind of an off part of whats expected
Alberto: thanks for highlighting the intricacies in both fretting hand and the strumming hand. ( the devil’s in the details!). That strumming tip is essential for getting it right, and you did an exceptional job explaining it!

Hey Lombardo! Another question about Prince song Kiss, different tutorials have different descriptions of the very first chord. Option 1: Second finger 12th fret A-string, first finger 11th fret D-string, barring the rest of strings on 12th fret Option 2: Second finger 12th fret D-string, first finger 11th fret G-string, barring the rest of strings on 12th fret Which option would you say is most correct A Prince tutorial from you would be appreciated :) Lars

You have one of the best tutorials on this style; most don't play it right
Cheers!
