I'm guessing you got yours at the Bradford, PA store? If so, Cool. I use a Zippo Lighter (also from Bradford, PA!) to fire my shit! LOL. PA legalized all "consumer" fireworks in 2017. Oddly, the bill to legalize was signed by a (pretty leftist) Democrat governor. (The ONLY good thing he's done while in office, IMHO!).
For a chain tent, they have slightly better prices, and a good selection of small old school type fountains. Im partial to the Desert Moon fountain. Also have a nice mid size bag assortment. Prime time? Perhaps? Full of fountains that actually perform decently. Basic fx, of course, but i was impressed with what they did, and it was a good bang for buck buy for keeping busy till ot gets dark enough for the good, hand picked items- like the one you mentioned.
Would have been cool to cut all into 100 pieces , gets some quick fuse and fuse the 6 100 together. We also got tom thumbs, which you could let off in the palm of your hand they were so weak. :) Then the government stepped in, and took away laser pointers, fireworks and bb guns.

It's good beer, true, But I also drink my share of Bud and Iron City too (I.C. is also local - Pittsburgh, PA).
Makes me feel ok with the prices I paid back on the 4th for a small assortment. Just gotta say the small whistling artillery was my favorite this year.

With the 2 and 300 strips, leave them folded up for a more intense barrage. I was slightly annoyed that they do not sell a half or full gross pf their morning glories. Just loose 6pc boxes. Oh well, ill grab the bundle from a tent. Ive found that Keystone and Phantoms morning glories are the best of the bunch- they DO have 3 fx, inc the snowfall effect so long missing in most.

its kinda cool that those little candles only go about 20 feet bc they are cheap and you can get a lot whole sale and use semi fast fuse to 100. Would be like a fountains. Or just do do 15 ,96 color pearls. And 20 mighty cobras for crackle. I did that last year as the intro for my show
If your in PA and your having trouble finding good fireworks at a good price your not looking hard enough, the state of PA has some of the best stores in the country and great pricing also if all your wanting is small novelty stuff like this you can buy that stuff individually cheaper than the price paid for this box.

I did some experiments with them and the ones I have wouldn’t light with fuse. They will light one another if they are touching. The flame and smoke that they generate make it so the numbers or letters would need to be quite large to be distinguishable. Looking for a plan B.

The clustering bee and flying color butterfly rockets you just did are absolutely horrible. I’ve said this before many times- boy have they really “dumbed down” these fireworks over the years. When I would get the cluster bee rockets in the 80”s the report would actually look like bees swarming around in the sky. Flying color butterfly with red/green (I believe) vibrant colors. If Cody didn’t say which one of the rockets he was lighting you would never know which was which. Both with a tiny little nothing. What a shame I remember when ONE jumping jack from the past is now like one ground bloom flower is today. I have a couple of packs of the REAL jumping jacks from the past which I will never open. Oh yea- the rockets used to go twice as high, too. The “fierce soaring tiger rockets” from the past screeched so loud it was nuts. Now they sound like a whistling moon traveler. Why? It’s sad.
