The difference between the two is that Chris Brown does modern R&B and is all about good vibes but can't go soulful, while Usher fits in any decade of R&B. Usher is both a R&B and Soulful singer while Breezy is all about R&B. Two great artists; Usher is more matured and works efficiently and effortlessly on songs, while Chris Brown is a super talented singer who's all about giving you hits and happy moments.
@@datgirl.raineeusher didn’t take it, Chris gave him his blessing to the song bc it ain’t get cleared on his end to basically release it officially, hitmaka already cleared it up
@@famoussuspendersno tf he didn’t you better do your research you going off of what the producer said when Chris had been in comments saying that he is not cool with this
I am a fan of both of these artists and nothing against Wayne and 2 Chainz but this is the version that should have been released. I am not a fan of the shade being thrown at Usher though as if he is not one of the most talented R&B artists of all time. Every one needs to keep in mind that number one the production on this version as opposed to the version featuring Usher is much better at least in my opinion. I also think Chris and Usher are great singers in their own right but being completely honest I do think this song fits Chris' voice a little better. He has come into his own as a vocalist similar to the vocal growth Usher showed on 8701 and especially on Confessions. Everyone has a right to their opinion so I am not knocking anyone who doesn't like the current version but I just think it is extremely disrespectful to talk down on Usher as if he didn't have a part in creating the lane for Chris to also become a legend. I think they are both incredible and want to see more collaborations from them once they have ended whatever feud they may or may not have with each other. 😕
Best comment on this video. People can’t big up some without tearing others down. Fully agreed on Usher maturing as a vocalist on those projects and Chris has done the same in recent years.
Just to add to this conversation, I also think the who's better conversation though is fun to have really is irrelevant. At the end of the day, these are two different artists who happen to be in the same genre. As musicians and creatives you are all influenced by the people that came before you as well as the people around you. It's hard to have one without the other. Enjoy them both for what they both bring to the table because they are both immensely talented and we are not going to see another Usher or Chris Brown.
Well said. I am a huge fan of both but both brought the sauce and well observed! It is the lady in my life sample in this version which makes breezy's version appear 'better' but when u add usher to this instrumental its excellent! Both great artists with great contributions to the industry lets appreciate what they bring rather than focus on just comparisons
Love This Version Its Fire! I'm Absolutely Sure Usher And CB Have A Mutual Respect For Each Others Music. Chris Is On An Usher Sampled Song With Chloé. ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Fiya! Fan of both. Honestly, Ushers delivery more serious and cool…and for me that’s what this song needs…along with a music track that has more originality. Great job!
This was originally gonna make the cut for Indigo but it wasn't released due to sample clearing and licensing from Micheal Jackson's management team. It samples Lady In My Life I'm pretty sure (correct me if I'm wrong)
@@dspedden23 I love the dialogue and at least your reply was respectful BUT we just have 2 different opinions 🤷🏾♀️ Not that he needed it, but Chris Brown's version was made with auto-tune and that took away from his version. Usher' s version is sccccraight Usher
Ok so that sample wasn't cleared and the Colliegrove version they took the sample out and Mike Dean played the keys and Hitmaker already had the beat ready for them
Chris Brown sings it like he is in a relationship with a girl and is trying to save it whereas Usher sings it like he is trying to seduce a girl and say what she wants to hear which isn’t wrong but definitely doesn’t give off the same level of passion and urgency that Chris Brown brings to the song
But which one has been married and one is yet to be serious with any woman. Usher is R&B. R&B artists are SMOOTHER. Chris is POP, not smooth. He always has had a high pitched child-like voice. Go listen to Alvin and the Chipmunks and tell me he doesn't sound like them.
@@maraholmes7999 I’m just giving my opinion on how they sang it and the way I interpreted the performance their personal lives, though it might have influenced their respective performance, doesn’t matter here in my opinion… But you are right about the higher pitch of Chris brown now the chipmunks reference is a bit much lol 😂 I like both performances Usher is more technical, clinical and polished whereas Chris is more raw, emotional and passionate.
R&B has a long history. Theres no way hes better than all those who originated the vocal styles hes using. Hes very light on technique like you expect a pop artist to be. Chris is POP, not R&B.

MJ would be proud
Its the Lady of my Life sample for me
This is how it should’ve been, but clearly someone somewhere was being difficult with clearance so Chris probably just gave it to 2 Chainz & Usher etc
Yes, the sample totally makes this track.
I am not sure about the original sample, but this is the loop from Fat Pat & H.A.W.K (ft. Trae)'s Swang :)
Omgggggg this gold. This is literally how it should’ve beeen. 🤦🏽♂️

How am I supposed to drive and dance to this?
Chris Brown & Usher Make a song Together

They need to re-release this song and add Chris to it
Or write him a seperate check
I like this version.
They should've done it together like this 🤦🏾♂️🥲🤔💭🎯⏯️🙌🏾🌊🔥🎚️👏🏾🎵😎

To really be honest i can see them doing this song together that would be one helluva banger 💯
Chris' ego and crackhead persona won't allow it. Usher is a calm, cool dude. He doesn't beef with ppl.

This better version with the King and Prince Of R&B!
this version is so dope ....
Yes this should been the re-release and add 2chainz and Wayne to the REMIX

Yall being extra. Both versions are dope.

The voice Chris is super lol❤❤❤
Chris Brown and Usher toghetar sounds WoW,🎼💯🤍💜💜🧞♂️✨✨✨✨
The way this was mixed I’d pick Breezy. But both of these men’s voices are beautiful I’d never say one is better than the other.
Just show the problem was with the sample, UR and CB never. Missed, this is straight fire
This shoulda came out first then wayne n 2 chainz remix smh they dropped the ball on this bc this 2 is crazy on this

MJ’s management should keep some of his practices in place. Apparently he would give black artists use of his music for free when they asked!
CB should’ve kept it and they could’ve done it just like this…
Man u hear then came with the remix with 2chainz n wayne this woulda went crazy
