I’ll order once the buttons are available. I have their aramid fibre case and in all honesty, I am really impressed. A suggestion would be to offer bundles with buttons from day 1 so customers don’t have to wait.
Just loved when the magsafe battery fell off. However, your point was made. Fun video. Through you, I discovered the aramid fibre and got it. It’s my favourite case to date. Very well thought out… and I have owned Mous and Caudabe cases among others over the years.
I have both Frosted and Rebel Gen 5, and two things I’ve noticed is that the grip on the Frosted Gen 5 more smoothed out than the Rebel Gen 5, and the USB-C slot is a bit more wider on the Frosted than Rebel
I have the frosted and the frosted flex for the 15 PM.
The usb c port is definitely smaller on the flex.
3 of my cables that fit the frosted do not fit the frosted flex.
I've had no issues with any of my cables on either case thankfully. As for the grips, I just put the frosted one on and the grips are definitely less aggressive. Not sure how much I like it but I'm gonna run this case for a few days and see if it's a deal breaker. The aramid one doesn't look as nice but checks all the boxes with authority especially for a grip guy like me.

This case is always fire! Finally got my Ghost case for the 15 pro max yesterday, So far i really like it! Also copped the Electric blue strike nomad sport band, Thanks for the heads up about that too!
Ghost case is trash tho seen way to many post about it lately, will be covered in scratches in a couple days, but most do anyways that’s why I stay away from clear to begin with
@@gtiguy1992able don't speak on a case you don't have, All clear cases scratch so if you thought other wise that's on you.
I just got my ghost case I don’t like it the grip feels awful and the case is so flimsy don’t think it will hold up in a drop disappointed I spent my money on it.

Just ordered the frosted! Returned the aramid fiber, I just didn’t like the feel of it, but loved the shape of the case, fit perfect in my hand, but I also want to see my blue titanium phone. Can’t wait for it to come.
I love phone rebel gen cases but they gotta sort the release times of there stuff out. It all comes out at different times way after the phone came. I buy the case and pay shipping and then have to wait to buy the buttons and that and then pay shipping again. Not good. Release all the stuff at once please

Would it be more fair to compare the phone rebel crystal to the ghost case? I ordered the ghost case and still have not gotten it but from what I have read people are not happy with all the scratches on the ghost case. Sounds like d-brand is going to try and fix the coating issue but won’t have new cases until April 2024 which is a long ways away in my opinion so I’m hoping they will still send me the case since I have paid for it. Sounds like everyone who ordered the ghost case will get a new case in the spring so I guess that’s alright.

Does it attract oils and fingerprints as easily as the aramid one? I also think it’s nicer than the aramid and I used your link to buy one.
It definitely won’t show as much as the aramid fiber one, but under certain light conditions it’ll show, but not as much.

Yeah they take forever with the cases and for needs to be something that’s sped up.
Crazy that they haven’t dropped the changeable parts yet so my case is abandon in my drawer because that copper looking metal doesn’t match the black titanium imo

Hey Tee the side grips between the Rebel gen 5 and the Frosted gen 5 are different with the frosted having softer bite.

I think the frosted would look great if it was clear frosted remove the black color go clear add color to the corners maybe do the blue TPE color or go white so people feel comfortable knowing there something there to protect the phone
I have the gen 4 without magsafe. I absolutely love their aramid fiber case in red for the 14 Pro Max (yes I still have the 14 Pro Max in deep purple) but I hate the clear case. It leaves white spots.

No, still bare metal. Don't know yet if that will cause scratches on the iPhone's buttons. Somehow I doubt it.

I love my Gen 5 frosted except for the magnets 😒😒😒have yet to have a phone rebel case where the magnets don’t end up attached to my phone when I take the case off. However the ultra orange combo with the blue titanium 15 pro max is fire 🔥. But I need to everything apple pro to get on top of these magnets popping out.

Someone who has an aramid gen 5 for the 15PM, the screws are slightly recessed so I don’t think it is possible for them to scratch. They are also painted over so i don’t think they would be able to anyways. Hope this helped

Will they be making frosted for 15 and 15+? Their website doesn’t even show options for them like the aramid does. That would be huge bummer bc I want a frosted for my 15+

@@gtiguy1992able, I have to agree. Phone Rebel cases are now legit! The Gen 3 weren’t great, the magnets came out of the case and stuck to your phone. Gen 4 was great and Gen 5 will be even better.

This looks like a great case with a good amount of camera protection, which is something I’ve been looking for. Can you say if the sides are a hard plastic or if they are more soft / rubbery? The only thing I worry about is whether the grippy textures can dig into my skin when holding the phone a lot.
