I totally agree. I watched one of their live-performance recorded concerts on youtube and for one hour he sang upbeat songs and ran all around the stage. I don't know how he did it. It was great to watch. Great musicians in this band.
The charts were in good shape then. Being musically original and skilled as well as writing good pop songs went together. This was a great tune, captures the upbeat feeling of the times. (It wasn't all doom!)
Thanx for uploading!! I'm a 47 yrs old guy and remember well I was such a big fan of these guys and their music when I was 12-13 at the begin of the 80s. To be fair, from a today's point of view the costumes and hairstyles a bit ridiculous but hey! Thats were the 80s. ;-) But their music is still great. Skilled and very musically. This was probably the best time in my life as a kid and I'm happy to grew up in that time.

Great track. The band committed Harakiri when they sacked Limahl, he was a great lead singer and together with bass player Nick Beggs, provided 100% of the group's charisma. Without him, Kajagoogoo was doomed to oblivion. Silly boys! Keyboard player Stuart, drummer Jez and rhythm guitarist Steve were all charisma-free zones. Is Steve even playing that guitar? He seems to just be banging it like a drum, before he gives up completely and starts shaking maracas. Feeble! Good video for this song too, worth a look if you haven't seen it.
