Hate to be uncomplimentary, but I was thinking the same thing lol. Sitting there with one wheel spinning and hooking up darn near to the top of the rad. Didn't do well in physics class, I gather. Once the pulling tractor digs in, if you shorten the cable so you are pulling down into the holes you dug, you can almost get enough tug to rip the stuck machine in half lol. Apparently they never saw that before.
Both have diff locks, and the one 4440 is front wheel assist. It has hydraulic motors on the front wheels that can help them turn. There is switch in the cab with either low or high....... if I recall... its been years since we had one. It was better than 2 wheel drive but not quite up to par against true 4 wheel drive.

It's 4x4 it just wasn't that good on those tractors unless he had it off which it looks like he did

@@bigd9260 we had a 4x4 4440 yes it has high or low low will lock the front wheels like a diff lock still was better than 2wd tho
