Agreed! When we decided to go this direction with the bike, a pogo setup was the only option. And, it has a short spring in the "pogo" section so it helps soften the ride of this softail even more.
Thanks for the comment! I'll have to get back to you on that one. The names (and codes) aren't on the receipt I have here. They stuck labels on the cans, which are over at his shop.
Glad you like it! As for engine mods -- not yet! =) I had a set of cams in each of my other TC88s and loved the way they ran (Andrews 21s & SE 203s). We checked the cam chain tensioners and they are good, so I'll save up for the hydraulic upgrade and do the cams then, but for now, the bike runs really well. My brother-in-law rides a 103 and commented on how well the bike pulls. I'm happy for now. As for the bags, they're called "Bubble Bags". I patterned this bike after a 1958 Duo Glide Shriner's bike that was in the Harley museum and then figured these bags would just complete the look I was going for, and give me some storage too! You can get them at JP Cycles or possibly find used online.
Thanks! That's my brother in law that helped work on the bike riding it in the video. I did get a little bit of time on the bike but I'm looking forward to many more miles on it going forward! 👍
I own a 2004 road king classic. Street glide wheels, fueling 525 cams, bassani full sys exhaust, sns steath air filter. Also had a 95" kit on it when I bought the bike...has 39 thou miles on it. No o2 sensors, no bullshit.....
That is a beautiful bike great colour, the old bubble bags are a cool addition. Hope you make a speedy recovery.
Thank you. Looking forward to putting a bunch of miles on this one!
Super cool! Looks and sounds awesome. Those exhaust tips! Very cool.
