- "The Matrix Symphony" is a three movement symphony composed and arranged by Don Davis. This first movement features a medley of highlights from first film "The Matrix".
Originally performed by the Tenerife Film Orchestra and Choir in 2007, I was dissatisfied by their performance, so I replaced the entire medley using cues from the original soundtrack. The result was the same arrangement, but with a superior performance from the orchestra.

Sooo beautiful and sooo unique!!! Personally, I don't think this music has aged a minute and I have never heard anything similar if you see what I'm saying! BUT when I heard that Lana Wachowski wasn't going to use Don Davis for The Matrix Resurrections, I absolutely could not believe it! She's using this other person 'cause they're good friends. Good friends????!!!!!! This is not honouring The Matrix she and her sister created!!!! You choose someone for their unique creative talent. It's like John Williams. He is one of the most talented musicians of all time and if not, he's at the very top! Hope she will do this huge mistake only for The Matrix Resurrections and NOT for the following Matrix... Matrix Re-reloaded or whatever it's going to be called. Miss Lana Wachowski replaced the music creator of the original Matrix. Unbelievable 😢
