Still Love,Love ,Love n Listen to BC and did I say Love!! ❤❤😍😍❤️❤️❤️ COME ON BIG COUNTRY FANS!! Let's keep listening, supporting n and keep them in our ❤
Remembrance Day was the lost single in my opinion. Fields of Fire my favourite although I think Where the rose is sown is where the got music & lyrics spot on.
Part of me says that Tall Ships Go should have been a single, but another part of me acknowledges that the intro is too long for a radio edit...and to mess with that just to make it radio friendly would be pretty close to a crime!
It is strange that the recording of the original Harvest Home single was never released on CD. The only way you can hear it is from the soundtrack of the video.
I think Remembrance Day would have been a great single. I'm sure many who love the heavy-guitar songs of BC will disagree, but I also think that given Hold The Heart (which I like very much) got released, why didn't they release another slowy, 'In This Place', which has a lovely piano melody.
Brilliant. I'm going to try and play CD's on my turntable. Like the Easter eggs of alternative Eden and Teacher and People. Plenty of singles that shouldn't of been. Where they lost the non obsessive potential buyers. Never thought the Teacher was a good follow up to Look Away. Potential singles could be Natives, Damascus. Doesn't matter now. All the b sides in a row would be interesting experience. As many outshone the A's. Eg Song of the South.
Restless Natives should definitely have been a single in 1985. The reasoning given that they didn’t want to release the soundtrack because people might have thought it was the next Big Country album is mind boggling. Even if they did, fantastic! It would have sold by the truckload. No third single from Buffalo Skinners was a mystery too… Seven Waves or The One I Love (already a US single) were just waiting in the wings…

At one time, I had most of these on 45 myself
FOF my favourite! How could The Seer (with Kate Bush) not have been a single? Travesty. Thanks for this, it's brilliant!
This is GREAT. I can share with people who aren’t aware of their work as a whistle-stop into. Good work man.
Brilliant video. Sound, vinyl, turntable, sleeve, backdrop. Superb !
Restless Natives, some great b sides as well, Winter Sky is class.
Simply greatttttt Stuart and companyyyyyyyy❤
Cheeky way to 'play' the CD singles and Laserdisc! LOL. Love this little 7" single journey. Thx Mr. BC1000 Stars! :-)

Where the Rose Is Sown is my favourite song, so I totally agree. Perfect in every sense.

It is on one CD release only, Volume 1 of the Singles Collection Box Set.

Both songs are on my top.
Also Eiledon but not for a single
THANK YOU!
14:20, that's a totally unfamiliar audio for Beautiful People. I never realised that the single version was different.
It's not really, that was just a cheeky edit 😉
It's the demo but I think it is much better than what was released.
Sneaky East of Eden Easter egg there!
…and The Teacher!
A couple of others too 😉
Whoa! What the heck version of Beautiful People was that?
You found one of the Easter eggs 😅 That version is actually the (far superior imho) demo version.

@@derekbrooks6231 or Remembrance Day, both better choices.
Seven Waves !
Tops again BC..
Sorry but i can't count Big Country singles after Stuarts death.
yes, you can
Don't be that person telling others what to do. Replace “you” with “I” and it's cool. 🙂
